His hopping is a nightmare on the Xbox version, but there's water on the GBA version, which is pretty good, at least you won't have Munch hopping about all the time.

He's saying that whilst Munch's hopping is irritating in the Xbox game, it's even worse in the GBA game. Thus it is a good thing that there is plenty of water in the latter game as swimming is more fun than hopping.

I never found the hopping to be irritating.

I did the sound and the slowness annoyed the crap out of me.
