This is nice and all, but I can't. I have only been around since January. And my nomination still remains Ambi. Oh, she would be a proud, fine Moderator around here. However, like I said to her, even though nameplate doesn't sais she is one, Ambi is a Moderator.

You don't need someone nice to do the job well. People are just more comfortble with a nice person to rule them, but that doesn't mean that they will the be the ones to do the job.

But yet something comes to mind. If everyone nominated a person who could do the job well, wouldn't they 1. already be a Mod or 2. been a Mod before or 3. were comparibly new when the last debate on Moderators was done?

Though, I do agree on the serious job part. Yet there are some Moderators that can goof off, but like doctors, they need to give their dsipline matters seriousily.

No, the rule wasn’t: not-nice-people=good OT moderator! It was that many of the nominations seem more inclined towards the ‘nice’ (read: dull) members, though they may not be best for the job. Certainly, I think a more ‘edgier’ (heh) person would be very welcome.

Mutual friend was complaining about him becouse he weren't nice, and now he is saying that person shouldn't be nice to become moderator (I used "nice" word ****ing alot). The irony is obvious.
