France Vs Italy In the Finals.


Italy will win. And the second place Germany. Down with Portugal!

So Italy plays France in the final. Who do you think will win? I'm hoping that Italy wins just so that I can say that we (Australia) just lost to the World Champions. It sounds much better than “We lost to the team that lost to the World Champions”

I think the entire world wants to see Italy win. Seriously, is there any non-French speaker who is actually fond of France and (more importantly) Frenchmen?

I've even heard French-Canadians hoping Italy would win...

And for Germany to beat Portugal. (Actually, anyone who faces Portugal in the future will be backed by England fans to beat them for a long time following their exploits and antics in this world cup.)

Plus, the French just rock, they have some almightily cool players like Henry, Sagnol and Zidane, who deserves to win the world cup again in his last game before retirement.

even before the world-cup started i was hoping England would win.
i watched england v Paraguay and they played very,very badly
i lost faith in england so my grandad said england wont win the world-cup

Since we wanted them to thrash Portugal in the semi. The boos every time Ronaldo touched the ball could only come from a sense of sporting unity between the French, German and English fans in the stadium.

I can't believe it!

Last year an old man came into my work. He told me Australia would make second round, Brazil would not go past the quarter finals, Italy would win the world cup. He said he guranteed it and told me to put money on it. Did I? Of course not. But now I'm sure regretting I didn't...

Friggin' Italy. Only good things they gave us were the food and mobster movies, and the mobster movies are negated by, oh, I don't know, VICIOUS MAFIA CRIME FAMILIES! I hate shoot out victories, too. Its like years of effort and over 2 hours of game time is negated in 7 minutes. It blows.

I generally cant stand soccer, but that was one hell of a headbutt. :D Talk about ruining your last game buddy.
