Right now Im working on creating a good idea for a regon but as I was thinking of this I came up with a pretty good storyline (the others that everyone else came up with where also good), in my earlier post I made a facility called Kennels Co. and like I said its stores all of the creatures that the Industrialists use to make a profit. Anyways, I was thinking that seince the story is based on a Meech. It could start out that he/she is stored in this facility as the last remaining Meech of his/her kind...and thats about all I could think of right now I'll come up with more stuff later if anyone wants to add on to my idea feel free to do so.

mmmm. last of the species sound familiar? here's an idea for an area a hospital it would only be for a short part of the game it would be run by vykkers labs but they wouldn't state that in the open after vykkers labs is destroyed they need a new place to do product testing so they make sick people pay to have extemly harmful things tested on them not only that but they get a better idea of effect on creatures (is it addictive ect.)

I don't think this should me based on a meech. It would be awfully hard to get around. Anyway, we could make up a new creature! Alcar said we could! Why the heck not? Bring your ideas in! (could I judge the creatures Alcar?(sorry if I'm taking over, but I just think that a meech would suck to control))

Well i guess its time, i was delaying it too see if any other people would post. And you all did!
Firstly i want to empathise that if you didn't make it into being a Leader, don't be discouraged, there were alot of people to choose from. And becuase of this each catergory now has 'Leads' example: Lead Designer. The people who are appointed Leaders are the people who will look and moderate the game. They will be the final word on if a region, story, creature etc is placed in the game. So turn to them for help if you need it. Right now i will announce the Leaders: -Gluk Schmuck -Snuzi 9mm -Monkey Man2000 -Alcar These people are too add a note in their signature. Like the one in my signature: Oddworld: Rex's Oddysee (Leader). Also, dumboddrw2 it would be cool if you could. Are you sure you can do a 3D game? More too come  |

Heh, I'd try describe Khufa (base for Rach and my fics) but it'd take too long, and I don't do "describe" very well anyway (I also haven't a clue what the place looks like, so... *shrugs*)

Sorry, at the moment their will be no more leaders. Maybe if we become crowded then the leaders will elect a new leader.
For now all the people that haven't been alectcated a position then post here what you would like to be. The leaders will also discuss possible positions for the 'Leads' |

I don't think you can make a game of Oddworld unless you get the ODDWORLD INHABITANT's permission first.........creating a game and not asking first will get you into BIG and i mean BIIIG COPYWRITE TROUBLE :eek:

Can I bring people's attention back to Ron_Rancor's storyline idea? I think that it is a very good idea, and it would be a good opportunity for me to introduce a new species I had come up with [as the underground species Ron came up with].
They are called the Samdokons [as "Mudokon" means "Inhabitant of Mudos", so "Samdokon" means "Inhabitant of Samdos", Samdos being this new Landmass]. I hadn't thought of them as being Trogloditic, but now that I think of it, they would suit that quite well. Their main 'gimmick' is that they have no eyes. Their primary sense is hearing, and for that purpose, they emit a continual stream of ultrasonic pings, in the manner of Bats and Dolphins. This aids them in navigating in the dark tunnels underground, where eyes would be of little use. This difference in senses might cause a problem in gameplay terms, except that their pings are so frequent and their hearing so precise that they can build up almost as detailed a picture of their surroundings as we do with vision. The only real difference is that they see only planes, with no colour, so they would not be able to read text unless it was embossed in some way. So, if we were playing as Rex, the screen would look quite different: things would be monochrome [but in a cool 'night-visiony' way :D], and there would be little surface detail. On the other hand, Rex would be able to see clearly in places where Abe and Munch would see nothing, because there is no light. So missions concerning Rex would involve a lot of things like sending Rex into places too dark for Abe or Munch. Hmm... I could really do with Eibu here to think of situations... Anyway, that can be counted as my second piece of input [anything to stop people having a nonsentient creature as a main character... :D]. |

Ancient Gabbits descovered these and believed they had mystical powers they adopted the sight and gave it its name.Gabbits with powers enter the orbs and form whirlpools to gain the magic of their ancestors.Because of these magics plantgrowth is well in the orb area. It is also a well known nesting place for Gabbits and far out of reach of Glukkon and Vykker hands but for how long... |
