After 2 days of sketching and painstakingly placing every scale, I am proud to present...

Wow, that's nasty. Knew that compsognathus' (sp??) could be vicious but geez, she's a right nasty begger... And I like it. :D Well done Dip. Great detail and I like both expressions. :D

A LADYPLODOCUS! Tidbits of info concerning gender roles in the comic: (Not that anyone cares, I just like to write things down.) -The term for a male and female in the comic is just that; "male" and "female." "Man" and "woman" aren't used since those referr to humans. -Dating is an entirely new concept for the dinosaurs. In earlier days, the males would court and mate with the females continuously, without question. Then certain males started having relationships with females that went above the "meet and mate" thing, and this started a new trend. This is also something that seperates Navado and his brother, Braxton. Brax lives in the past with his playboy lifestyle, while Navado wants to be in a more intimate relationship with a female. -Marrage is something that spawned from dating, but the dinosaurs call their partners "life mates." -The new concept of relationships makes for funny side effects. In older days, a female would simply concent to a male, as was tradition. But nowadays, females are coming into their own. Navado is extremely attracted to a female with a personality of her own that doesn't revolve around intercourse and propogation (as opposed to "fuck me while my womb is vacant.") -If a female is coveted by more than one male (this goes for the daters and the old-fashoned guys), the two will usually have a "courtship brawl," a test of strength and will. Navado thinks that these fights are barberic and meaningless, but in one storyline I have planned, he's forced to fight his brother to win the heart of a female. -Sex is difficult for Stegosaurs. XD |
Ohmigawd.
I just love the blood the Ceratosaurus is coughing. |

[/cliche "keep up the good work" bit] :D |

Wow, cute lil' raptor-dino stabbing a stake in to a larger dino.
The mischievousness...the looks...and the blood! Really good, Dip! |

Sorry. I kind'a get confuddled with the long, scientific names.:Wipes lips: Ok, let's rephrase this: Cool! Love the Compsognathus stabbing a stake through the bigger dino. (I'm not sounding smart-assish, am I? :fuzblink: ) |

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...ea_smaller.jpg Everyone likes dancin'! I like this picture a lot, probably because it's the first time I've drawn Zinnea without a skeletal refrence. |
 Great stuff.
I have to say, I am loving "that chick with the boobs" a lot. No, not for her cleavage, but that really is an amazing design. *clap clap clap* |
I like Zinnea most - she's so cute:D dancin' huh? Nice:happy: the others are good as well. Did I say good? I mean they're great. Yer pics always great;)

Yeh, I likes Zinnea doing her cute two-step, and it is very cute. :D Great art, as always Dip :D

We loves the drool of the Theropod's, and the head and legsh. We needs a bigger versionsh of the Theropod, myes. I wouldn't mind if I died in the jaws of that kind of dinosaur. ..Is that an earlobe? The hands seem heavy. Aren't they supposed to be short? Haha, the king kongey 'Sledge' is somewhat cute. I like his mouth. I wonder if there's something wrong with the posture. I like the shape and the feet of the dancing dino. Pretty little mouth. Enigma? The name resembles a bad guy from marvel comics mixed with an enema. He's silly. |

Damn it! :

But seriously, E’s one of my favorite characters. He’s a 6’3’’ talking single-celled organism-alien-thing with streatchy, sticky powers and an unsually vast knowledge of all kinds of locks. And that spells cool in the language of Dipstikk. |
Okay, he's not silly.
He looks good with the octopus-y (octopussy..?) mouth thingies and the eyes. I like his fingers. He can open locks? Coolness! |

Various Navado expressions. The skull looks more like Dicraeosaurus than a Diplodocus, but it's close enough. |
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...Allosaurus.jpg
The vicious, ruthless, and cunning apex predator, Allosaurus maximus (Saurophaganax maximus). At 40-49 feet long, these voracious carnivores do whatever they want to whomever they want. ...Or so they thought, before meeting Navado, the 65 foot long, 24,000 pound Diplodocus carnegii. Giant sauropods > giant theropods. Sauropod = the large, long-necked, quadropedal group of dinosaurs. The kind in the Sinclair Petroleum logo. They ranged in size from 15 to 100+ feet, and have been found all over the globe, existing from the Early Jurassic all the way to the Late Cretaceous periods. Theropod = The major group of bipedal predators, ranging in size from 6 to 50+ feet, found all over the globe and existing through all three major time periods during the Mesozoic era. |
I'm a bit late, but I lovezor the Enigma chap. He is all liquidy.
Squish! |

The Jurassic Period, page 1. Yes, THE Jurassic Period. The actual comic. I mean, I'm going back in later to fix some stuff in the background, but this is pretty damn close to being done. Done in Photoshop with my kickass Wacom tablet. Which is most likely how I'll be doing the whole comic, actually. |
Wow  Love the jurassic park comic!
It's an interesting perspective. It's perfect! :D |
The Jurassic Period. PERIOD. This is not an adaptation of Jurassic Park.
I have an announcement: I've found out recently that if I were to say that this comic took place 120 mya, it would be during the early Cretaceous period (Obviously, completely contradictng the title). The actual time would have been 150 mya, during the Tithonian sub-period (there are three sub-periods within the Late Jurassic period, as well as all other time periods, to further break them down). |

Sorry I snapped at you. It's just that I hate, hate, HATE Jurassic Park, mostly for what they did to the velociraptors.
|
Nice work, Seegernator! Your lining skills and dynamics have greatly improved since your rough copy.
I'm going to go make yaoi spin-offs of the characters now! *prances off nimbly* |
NOOO! MY DIGNITY AS A SERIES CREATOR IS RUINNNEEEDD!!!! *voice trails off*
