Lost my job at Barnes and Noble when I mentioned it to the exchange co-ordinator at my university and she pointed out that I'm legally not actually allowed to work off-campus. Which means I've been in breach of my visa.

Applied for one job here that rejected me on the grounds that I'm only here for another 2.5 months. So now I'm back to square one.

That sucks >.<. Stupid legal issues huh?

Could you not have gotten a green card or whatever before you started working? Probably would have taken too long, I bet.

What would be the point of spending the time and money for a short term, part-time job? I think you probably need a sponsor anyway for a greencard.
