Wow, so that how it looks like. I think the box very neat, a bit a like PC though, but I still think the PS2 shape looks better in my option, but I like whiteness. The control dosn't that appealing to me, I think the first Xbox controler looks much better, this just looks... well a bit crapy. It's nice to see it though :)

Well if oddworld were going to make games on it, then I wounder how they would deal with it. Dose this include the Xbox1 games?

What's the problem with memory cards? The technology has improved a lot since PS1, I have only needed one for my entire PS2 lifetime, they're a lot more reliable nowadays.
Also, if they are made by microsoft for X-Box they will be really good, much better than the PS1/ 2 sony ones.

Ragdoll physics have nothing to do with graphics, but other than that, yeah. Seeing as how the game will be on Xbox 360, it should have much improved graphics. Is that unreasonable?

And according to the fact sheet (along with several other articles I've read) there will be a detachable 20 GB hardrive, so there's no need to worry, Dino. Unless it's 100 extra bucks. In which case I'll be pissed.

I wached the Xbox 360 footage on MTV, and I must say it was rubbish. No info on the hardware or games, just a 20 second shot on the Xbox bieng switched on. But what would you suspect on MTV, atleast they showed Snow Patrol.

They had a few minutes of Perfect Dark showing, and it looked pretty sweet. Big levels, up to 50 people at a time. But yeah, no news on the hardware. :(

I'm liking the wireless controls. A lot. My only complaint about the controller is that the Xbox Jewel at the top is a bit too crowded (the numbers represent wireless channels, yes?).

Overall, I think the Xbox 360 looks pretty darn cool, albeit large. Hopefully the PS3 won't kick the crap out of it too bad.

That's the attitude I had originally too. But then I relaized the "customization" that the 360 will have. I think the faceplate concept will be pretty cool. You can also see game trailers, reviews, and all sorts of other cool media. And online play is become a fad now, and I think that'll really help the 360 sell.

I just hope it's Backwards Compatible, that's the only thing that hasn't been officially talked about.

I agree, except for the part about the wireless controllers.....and getting high. I've got a wireless controller for the Xbox, but I still have not replaced the batteries. Yet maybe that's because the only games that I liked for the Xbox were Psychonauts and KOTOR.

Same with my PS2 memory card. But I lose it ALL THE TIME. So I'd really just prefer a HD... How would I use custom soundtracks otherwise? I'ts the only reason I played THUG 1+2.

And who the hell wants wussy-ass little memory cards? What's the point? The console is going to be the same damn size and shape as the last console, so why not have an integrated hard drive like the last one did? The only merit of removeable memory cards is that they allow you to take your savegames with you wherever you go... but all that will lead to is a bunch of people who sell savegames on memory cards over the internet, just like all the other consoles that had memory cards. Unless the memory cards can store all your savegames without ever standing a chance of filling up, I don't want one - I hate switching them.

To be fair, it's a wee bit smaller, but that's besides the point.

The thing will have a 20 Gig hard drive (at least, it'll be an option), so I don't really see why it's such a big deal. Sure it would be nice to have it impemented as a neccessity instead of an accessory, but as long as it's available, I don't think it's a problem.

I found that the Xbox60 will cost about £220-240 in the UK.

One other thing, which is better overall-The PS3 or Xbox 360? Which has the better spec, higher capabilities, better graphics, faster speed and so on...

I'm planning to try and get a PS3. It has more games that would interested me, and I want get rid of my old 10 years old antique PS1. But depends on what oddworld have panned, but they might something mulitplatform.

I think around 350 or 400 bucks. As for the better console, it's likely the PS3 will have better graphical capabilities, but after seeing what the Xbox 360 can handle, I doubt there will be that much difference between the games.

Who cares? The playstation sucks in terms of games. As usual microsoft have monopolised by getting all the decent games. Even if it does have better specs it's not gonna be worth buying if the only games on it blow.

I don't have a problem with PS3 - I loved the PS2 for quite a while even though I quickly became bored with it's mediocre games - it's just that I don't have any interest in any of the games that they're going to be releasing. The only games that I'm interested in (or consider worth playing) will all be on Xbox 360, which I may or may not buy, depending on how things go. I was simply saying that fancier systems mean diddly shit if you don't have any good games to play on it.

One downside to these amazing graphics, though. Sometimes they will comprimise gameplay, and games will take longer to produce due to the time taken to make these 3D models materialise.

Wow, that is a beutiful screenshot, I thinks it's from PS3. Jugding on what the PS3 is capable of, I think Godfather could be realtime.

Speaking, the console it's self looks ok, it just looks bit like some kind of bin, how the hell are you gonna put the console laying falt, it'll roll. But I think the new PS3 control very nice, looks confy to hold. In my option It looks and probably feels better than the Xbox 360. And it's great that it come in three different colours, I would go with the white one. It seems that these next-gen console seem to have curve shapes. And 7 controls ports? That's alot, and wireless. (hmmm.. I wounder how it would fit seven screens on one TV)

I saw the long video of PS3 E3 confrence. Some of the graphics are very inpressive, some are good, but others look very nice. The face expressions are amazing, especelly the boxing clip, the ripples of the face bing punched is quite astonnishing. Sometimes when I looks at some great graphics games are can't if some of those are Realtime. I also think that PS3 has a good range of developers. :)

If I heard correctly, it will be twice as fast as the Xbox360.

Edit: Oh right. I look closer at the Playstation 3 , and it can lay falt, thought it would stupid if it couldn't, still looks wierd though. I wish they made a better logo.
