but having a slig, and being a cool albino slig as a hero would be soo cool,i mean,Sligs are soo awesome and i never get enough to see some more of them. It soo fun when you can be one when possesing em,but sadly when played enough or they have allready done theyre duty, they go splat, wich makes me sad until you can posses another one -___- so having a game with a slig hero, would mean playing a slig without splat ^_^ plus controlling it,talk and see even a gamespeak would be so awesome ^_^ I know there was in AE,it was soo cool to have a closeup on the slig and the other as well, but sadly there wasnt any gamespeak of the enemys in MO,you could only try guess what random insulting words they said, with no much help, like in AO or AE,there you could at least use the words:Look out or get em |
I# think it would be nice to be a slig for a change.

2d kicks ass, but if you look to all of the unique things in oddworld, you just want to explore(like the 4d game theory of Oddish), and the simplest way of goaling forward to that is by first making a computer rts style game with patches to constantly upgrade to higher levels of gameplay.(or something)
have little mudokon camps, go explore with a bunch of elum riders, protect areas with steefs, discover the entire oddworld. (just a dream) |
whats 4d?
(ten characters) |
That is the unknown part of gaming (i dont know), maybe its like smellable tv, only better. like feeling/smelling the air, while you are playing, something like that. (i hope)

That was hard to explain. I'm not sure how to tell you the exact meaning. Well you get the picture. |
Andy's Table Of Dimension Misnomer's:
xyz & time - mostly called 3D - actually 4D xyz - always called 3D xy & time - always called 2D - actually 3D xy - always called 2D Given that we normally only name something 2D or 3D based on it's distance dimensions, what does it mean to call a game 4D? Does that mean that time goes past much more than it normally does? For a platform game this is not hard, mostly the game will wait for you to complete bits, if you leave the game unpaused in an empty area for days nothing changes. But a real-time strategy game? Time goes past for all players at once, leave it unpaused and your opponents will build armies and kill you. Maybe an especially 4D rts game would be one in which as you play the particular mission or the entire campaign, the environment changes with day / night / seasons, non-player characters carry out daily routines, and the success of the campaign changes elsewhere as other players fight battles you are not involved in. |
Lorne says that he's some exciting ideas for the next-gen consoles ;)
