I wasn't arguing, I was just saying... *shrivels up in the corner*

If you insist on arguing so much, at least have the courtesy to take it to PMs and respect other members by not clogging up the threads. I'm surprised after your reaction to someone going slightly off topic in one of your threads that you would turn this thread into some petty debate about punctuation.

Back on topic: I discovered that I have a weird habit of constantly looking over my back as I walk through large parking garages. I always have a strangely strong feeling of being followed. Those places are so creepy...

i have a stange habit of popping my fingers...

Indeed, Dino you slammed soulstice for a similar sort of thing. Practice what you preach before you go all 'voice of reason' like.

On topic: I get paranoid and itchy when in confined spaces with other people. Also, on the way back from school on friday, I noticed that whilst standing up on the bus I couldn't keep still. It was like I couldn't stand up comfortably for more than 2 minutes.

A wallet is rarely in my pocket. I'll have to carry one once I start driving, but in the meantime, I take exact change, or a close number of bills whenever I go out somewhere. Braums has recieved many exact amounts of $1.61 over the past few months. A large vanilla frozen yogurt in a cup. Good stuff.

I also always have some form of mintyness on hand. Last year, I went with Orbit gum, until the wrappers started building up. Now, I've turned to Altoids, and am currently working on a stack of Altoid tins. Seriously, I go through the things like candy.

Also, I always feel compulsed to dip my finger in the melted wax of a candle just put out. Assuming this is one of those candles in a jar/glass/whatever.

I've got the same thing, only I don't feel like being followed, but I feel like I've dropped something every freaking second...
It drives me crazy if I don't look behind me.:banghead:

stingbee 04-16-2005 12:44 PM

I don't like being followed either even by people I trust I feel like they are goona do something

I said that it was an irritating habit of mine, and he continued arguing with me as if to test it. I don't like being tested. If he had stopped then I would've stopped.

It is slightly contradictory but I can't help it, if I see something that's incorrect, illogical, or something that I deem "stupid" then I feel compelled to argue with it. If I don't then I always feel like something bad will happen.

I understand what you are saying, I feel the same with a lot of my peers at school. However, I don't make a strange habit of arguing with them. I'd be there all day. :p

stingbee 04-18-2005 07:14 AM

whe we have a test in school and Im stuck on a question then I chew my pencil

Abe16 04-18-2005 07:17 AM

yeah, when I'm taking a test in school, I don't chew my pencil, I quietly whistle the tune to Super mario bros. I'm weird and I like it.

stingbee 04-18-2005 07:25 AM

well if you'r such a big fan of mario why did you get rid of you'r avatar anyway do you get told off by the teachers

Abe16 04-18-2005 07:27 AM

No, i just thought it would match my name and sig. And I sometimes never get told off by teachers.

stingbee 04-18-2005 07:44 AM

well I in science tests when we have finished tests and checked them the teacher says we can draw things on a piece of paper while we wait for other people to finish and I always draw oddworld things

T-nex 04-18-2005 08:11 AM

My habits:

I always draw during the class. On my papers, books and table. Everywhere :S

And i keep forgetting things. Like, if i did something for 5 minutes ago, my friend tells about it, and i go all like: "Really? I can't remember that." I forget alot. Even if it's important stuff.

EDIT: 5 more posts, and i've reached 1000 posts :D

stingbee 04-18-2005 09:49 AM

well when I tell somebody something later I tell them again they go you ve told me and I say did I:eeek:

Nate 04-18-2005 07:05 PM

I'm a bit like dino in that I'll argue about any stupid little detail. I've even had arguments where I realised halfway through that I actually agree with the other person but I somehow became a devil's advocate without even realising.

:

I get mood swings. Nothing brings them on but I just get very annoyed very quickly at a lot of people.

That might be a guy thing. I heard somewhere that the male of the species has a three month emotional cycle (as compared to a 28 day menstrual cycle). I myself have my happy times, followed by the sarcastic times and then the snappy times. I try to control myself, without much success.

:

But I just can't understand the mentality of someone who upon encountering a correction on something that they have said, just points out that they know that they're wrong, but find it easier to be incorrect.

Final word (hopefully): My point was that everyone I know uses the phrases (brackets), [square brackets] and {curly brackets} so if I started calling them (parenthises) and [brackets] no-one would be able to understand me.

Facsimile 04-19-2005 03:16 AM

Oh shut the **** up both of you about brackets and parenthises. No one cares.

Meh, I have that exact same problem. I doodle all over EVERYTHING I can get my hands on. Notebooks, tests, paper, notes, my binder, my shoes, my hands, my arms, my lunchbox, other people's stuff...I am surprised that I have not been expelled...

I now sleep every three days, I am worrying my parents sick....my, is it amusing to see them like this...
