Sorry Joshy, yeah you would make a really good mod. Especially with being so close to Alcar and whatnot. Your judgement isn't the best in the world, and I think maybe you could probably be a bit more fair and give things more of a chance, but other than that, you'd pretty much rock.
Only opionated against Death, Reese Charles and thats for certain reasons.
Anyways back to topic, i dont really want to be a mod but i was just saying that i dont think Abe Babe and Alcar thinks there's a need for new mods.

To be quite honest with you, I don't actually think DI should be a moderator.
He tends to insult people, reply flippantly, continue 'arguements' and is generally nasty; often before then closing the thread, making sure he has the last word. DI just doesn't strike me as a good image of the staff.
Someone who is less agressive and hostile, and more fun would be a good candidate.

I would really like to be a mod of Non-Oddworld Art and Literature. I think I would be a good mod for it as I visit there alot, and I am always writing up my stories, and giving good opinions of other peoples stories and art. I think I have been on the forums long enough now to get my place.

Since it's a subforum I don't think they have specific moderators for it and only it. If you're a FC mod then yeah, you could make yourself the NOAL mod.

As have I for FS&H and OT. Hopefully I'll get one or the other, but ultimately both.

FS&H I'd love to do. But really OT is where the action is, so naturally that's where I'd like to be.

So far, our OT nominees are:

Mac The Janitor.
Oddguy.
Codek.
Hobo.
SeaRex.

NOAL nominees are:

SeaRex.
ferill.

FC nominees are:

Sligslinger.

FS&H nominees are:

Yes, FC is the perfect forum for new mods. If you run for GD or OT then people will think you're over-confident, if you run for SP or RPG then people will think you're a loser. FC is right in the middle so it rocks.

Another reason why I'm also running for FS&H. I like helping people out, and aiming for that forum is not too ambitious. As much as I think I would make a good OT mod, I don't think I would have enough votes to get the spot. Even though there is only me, Oddguy, and Mac running for it.

EDIT: Although it's a possibility...

I'd say that isn't a bad spread of new moderators. The three of us in OT, making 5 mods overall, and 4 if Majic gives up his spot, isn't really too shabby considering it will be thriving when Stranger comes out. The extra in GD is probably a good idea, for the same reasons. GD will end up with 3 mods there if this goes ahead. FS&H would be me and the admins, so 3 again, but I would be taking care of moderating duties and Peter/Kristen could handle forum issues. I would possible answer the simpler questions, again freeing up the admins time even more.

Fingers crossed Abe Babe will agree to this. :)

I'm not actually a mod for much longer, I've said this repeatedly but no-one seems to take it in. Officially The Red Muse is the mod now, but I'm waiting for a forum leader to move the mod powers across.

I'm as qualified as Mac is, in terms of previous experience with moderating (not on this forum of course). SeaRex is popular, so he'll probably get in. Oddguy will most likely get the GD spot, and you'll probably get the other OT spot.

Who do you think you'll all vote for?

I seem to remember last year that if we voted we had to vote for each catagory. If that's the case this year I shall not vote, as I wish to leave one or two forums blank.

Naturally, on the off chance that I do get OT and FA&L, I would be more then happy to hand down one of the titles to the person that came in second.

Come to think of it, maybe that should be a new thing. Perhaps it would be better if each moderator (sans admin/Alcar) could only have control over one area. That might be more fair. I don't know. What do you guys think?

Oh boy. I simply can't wait to see who's getting FS&H and GD. :p
