I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I knew that I didn't get the BEST version of TAoO. I hope it's a reasonable price, but if it isn't...I'll do my best to obtain it.

Yeah, that's the point. I wouldn't buy any other edition except for the Limited Edition. I've already set it up for my birthday present, but Mum isn't too happy about spending such a lot on more Oddworld stuff. Yeah, she doesn't like my fixation on Oddworld :p I'll have to protest a lot to get it. But it'll be worth it.

I really hope they have a page or two from Lorne and Sherry at the beginning. Like a foreword. Perhaps with a signature from each? Written in gold text? That'd be surperb.

I think the book will cost as much as Expoise is, and the limited Edition is expensive, i might only be able to buy the original book.

I believe they'll come at the same time, why not? And i think they come earlier than that, September, but i hope late August.

I wounder if were gonna see modeling on how they did everthing in 3D,and what program they used. I'm "studeing" 3D work,by looking and reading.

There is of course, another difference between the limited edition ones and the other types, and that's that it's limited edition, which means they're much more valuable, much rarer and are usually numbered by hand. They're usually often signed by someone relevent, though not always.

(first ever post, wooho!)I'd love a nice foreword, and loads of production art, more so than screens. If it does come out in November then that will be perfect! I can get the limited edition for my birthday, and buy the hardcover myself (softbacks drive me crazy). I'd like to see the original idea for each character and creature, and how they changed. Skeletons would be really good, the skulls would clear up the mystery of slog/scrab/paramite navigation. Photos of inside the studio would be fabulous, and what Oddworld product would be complete without the company picture?

I don't think the limited editions will go beyond the fact that it's leather bound, or I'm sure AA would have said something or atleast hinted if there was other 'limited edition qualities'.

I don't hope the prices gap will be that big between the normal one and the special edition. look at these prices for the expose2.

OWI made it for the fans, as a fan I show I care and buy the best edition of it. My way to see things :p

I really cannot wait for this book. I can't wait to see all the great art in more detail along side of the numerous art that we've never seen before. Anyways, as for the leatherbound addition. If Im one of the first too find it ready for sale Im gonna state it on the forums so everyone can have a shot at one.
