It looks really generic, if anything. A bit stupid, too, but that's kind of what I expect from non-Pixar Disney CG.

The trailer was so original...

I just saw the trailer for Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The book appears to have been thrown in the the shredder.

Not gonna stop me going to see it though.

It seemed like a good idea at the time, but then I realized I was pretty much watching Batman do cocaine, have sex with hookers, and kill homeless people.

After seeing the first one, I never wanted to see any more.

It's just.... a terrible story. I hate it.

The first one was fantastic. It follows the book closer than any other film-based-on-a-book I've seen. And I've loved The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe since I was little.

But...Santa Claus gives them weapons!

Damn, I need to see that movie if that happens.

The highlight of the BBC miniseries adaption I watched at primary school.

Fucking. Creepy. That face is as destined for memehood as 'CURSE YOU, TINY TOILET'. Also, I can't be the only one who thought 'Tentacle Porn' when I watched that trailer.

But still, things could be worse...



On-topic, I just watched The Nightmare Before Christmas for the first time in years. It joins Disney's Aladdin and A Muppet Christmas Carol as the only musicals in the entire history of film that weren't complete and utter shit.

My sister cried at the end of B&tB because she liked The Beast more than the weird-looking prince. I'm inclined to agree.

The Prince was based on a Michaelangelian aesthetic beauty. You and your sister are furries.

Blargh! I really started to hate Disney when I first saw the trailer for Tangled as I before always had to defend this fucking Corp. for reasons I cannot explain. It's like I finally woke up from the matrix.
Disney rapes the reputation of Animation. John K. is right, their animation films don't have a soul. All Disney Films are the same. ALWAYS! But I always loved the technical breakthroughs and virtuosity of Disney films.
But this. Tangled is the cherry on top. fuck Disney. I wanna work in the animation industry one day, but not for Disney or Dreamworks Animation or any other big Corp.

Pixar is brilliant, but I can't for the life of me work out why, of all their films, they chose Cars to make a sequel of.

I saw the new Harry Potter over the weekend. It was boring.

Wow so they really were book accurate.

I was never able to finish the last Harry Potter Book. More pages does not make a book better! Mostly if the long book is boring. The same can be said for the LOTR movies.

Is it true that they are making the 7th book into 2 movies? I believe so, since the movie trailer says Harry Potter 7 part 1. Ehhhhh, any way to make mo money.

That movie 127 Hours about the true story of Aron Ralston might be...ok. I don't know, it might be good. But it's not like the ending will be a surprise, (one reason why I don't like prequels) and a movie with mostly one guy by himself (at least here) relies on flashbacks and stuff. I need to find some new movies to look forward to.

Yogi huh, with Justin Timberlake. fantastic. There's going to be a Smurfs movie too in CGI.

I watched Dispicable me a while ago. It was a disapointment.

I have just seen Monsters. And it was genius! it's a beautiful and stunning movie with great characters.
