I blame the lack of backwards compatibility in this generation's consoles.

And the introduction of HD on a wide scale.

There's two huge factors there that have nothing to do with creativity (Not that I think this generation is especially creative compared the last two, my two)

The Last of Us just looks like another Left 4 Dead clone. I might be wrong and i'm not saying its going to suck. I love Naughty Dog :D

Your not the first to call it a Left 4 Dead Clone. In fact I don't think I get it. Zombie games have been done before. But I don't think ND would make the 4th Uncharted. So what else could ND do.....

You're right guys, all zombie games are the same. I mean, Left 4 Dead is just the same thing as Dead Rising, and I remember when Plants vs Zombies came out AND MAN IT WAS JUST MORE ZOMBIES. Dead Island somehow sold copies, but it was just those games with a different name. Totally, The Last of Us will just be another one of those games.

I would like to see more Psychological Thrillers and Tactical Espionage Action games. Remember MGS 5 is not going to be about Tactical Espionage anymore. ):

MGS Rising is probably going to be the best action game next year, since its made by Platinum Games. I am interested in it for that fact and that fact only.
