Oh, I don't care that you don't like it. It wasn't an amazing movie. I liked it, but wasn't blown away or anything. It just wasn't about making a movie. That happens at some point, but was more of a sub plot.

I didn't realise there was a main plot. To me, it appeared to be a slice-of-life collection of overlapping subplots, none of which seemed much more significant than the others. It's not only about a boy making a movie, but it's no less about that than anything else.
It's about a young man trying to find hope and validation in a dreary, unambitious world. Much like a certain other film. |
