If you don't find a clock to punch now
OR GET YOURSELF A STEADY FUCK NOW

You will die freezing cold and alone!

Hazel-Rah 03-15-2016 04:50 PM

really underrated fleetwood mac album imo

Mr. Bungle 03-16-2016 02:53 PM

That's some really pretty cover art.

I've only heard Rumors myself. I like it, but don't get all the acclaim towards it being one of the "best albums ever".

Hazel-Rah 03-16-2016 03:38 PM

Yeah, it's definitely some of my favorite cover art of all time, it has a very ethereal quality to it really matches the music.

Rumors isn't my personal fav of theirs; but i think a lot of the acclaim comes from the song Go Your Own Way because of its significance to the band's history, Lindsay Buckingham wrote it as a eulogy to his relationship with Stevie Nicks and it's a timeless break-up song which resonates with everyone.

Mr. Bungle 03-17-2016 03:53 PM

The album art sort of reminds me of this wonderful Montreal-based progressive rock/folk outfit:

Beautiful stuff. Ethereal is a good word.

BTW, which Fleetwood Mac albums would you recommend? Barring the one you already posted, obviously

This song sums up the Glukkons nicely, I think.

HOLY SHIT THIS ROCKS

FrustratedAssassin 03-22-2016 07:54 AM

I like futurebass. Not sure this is futurebass but I like it regardless.

Been listening to a lot of Lorn, and oh look:

Lorn has obviously taken inspiration from Lorne.

Laser 03-31-2016 01:25 PM

Started getting into Prince. I never knew just how many amazing songs that man has made. I would link a video of my favourite Prince song so far, Strawberry Beret, but they have all been muted or taken down. So enjoy this cover of George Harrison's My Guitar Gently Weeps with a fucking face melting solo from the Purple One himself

Varrok 03-31-2016 01:31 PM

Mmmm Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne

Mr. Bungle 04-05-2016 11:13 AM

The new Weezer is... actually pretty great.

MA 04-05-2016 01:13 PM

first heard it on Breaking Bad. that show had some pretty great music.

STM 04-07-2016 01:02 AM

I don't get the universal acclaim of To Pimp a Butterfly, I think it has some good tracks and some fucking boring ones. My favourite though, has to be King Kunta; it's so fucking catchy and it really harkens back to that golden age of 90s rap/ hip hop. Plus that girl with the "bae" shirt is fucking STUNNING.

Mr. Bungle 04-07-2016 06:03 AM

TPaB was decent, but GKMC wipes the floor with it. King Kunta is a great track, but

bitch don't kill my vibe

STM 04-08-2016 03:09 AM

Oh hey look he's rapping in Teletubby Land!

FennecFyre 04-08-2016 07:20 AM

Radiohead just announced that the new album is out on the 8th of May. They also released this new track:

I've never really listened to Radiohead, but I went ahead and listened to this and I really liked it. I guess I should finally start exploring their discography, I like this.

Laser 05-06-2016 11:24 AM

If you like that, then listen to their more electronic-y stuff first then move on to the rock albums:

In Rainbows, King of Limbs, Kid A and Amnesiac.

Then move on to:

OK Computer, The Bends and Hail to the Thief. If you are feeling really adventurous listen to Radiohead's debut Pablo Honey, their worst album.

Xorlidyr 05-09-2016 09:51 AM

The title is wrong. This is not Catholic. This is pre-Schism.

Mr. Bungle 05-09-2016 06:03 PM

Yeah, Dyna, listen to In Rainbows, King of Limbs, Kid A and Amnesiac ASAP. They're fantastic, four of the best albums you'll probably ever hear.

Anyway I just jammed the new Death Grips. Goes hard, as expected.

Because avant garde industrial punk-metal needed to be influence by grindcore apparently?

That's... a weird way to describe Death Grips. The new album rocks though.

STM 05-13-2016 08:57 AM

It's definitely not their best, I still don't think anything they've done holds up to Exmilitary but it's okay, albeit a bit noisy for the sake of being noisy.

FennecFyre 05-14-2016 07:18 PM

Okay whoever's cutting onions in here needs to stop.
