It's a joke. Just ignore me.

Ratchet just outright doesn't work graphically on PS2 emulators, or if you play through the broken graphics it's slow as hell. Jak is playable but feels like ass and has crazy shadows. I think all of the Sly games are totally unplayable too, but 2 and 3 definitely don't work at all graphically.
|
I've never got a PS2 emulator to work correctly. It's just so much easier to just play on a actual console.
|
PCSX2 works fine for me.
|
I didnt mean emulator (Shouldve phrased that better). Just meant that theres no point running something if I cant record it. Cant see where I can improve If I havnt got a reference.
|
|
Sounds like a blast.
|
The amount of thought and historically correct information put into it is astonishing.
|
I can hear Job's heavy breathing from here.
|
I got Firewatch. Played for a bit. I love it.
|
I got Stardew Valley. Haven't played yet. It's installing. Looks mad fun, tho.

I haven't played it, but I know it enough to say that it depends.
Do you think The Stanley Parable is worth $20? |
The Stanley Parable? Great writing and voice acting, but I don't think it's worth $20. It was insanely short. Firewatch? Totally worth it.
|
If it's anything like SOMA, yep, worth 20$. I finished SOMA in less than a day and I don't regret any of it. Fantastic game.
I traded in my 2DS for the NEW ""Nintendo"" 3DS XL. An update was released not a day earlier announcing SNES games will finally, finally, be available on a Nintendo Portable. I picked up Super Mario World immediately and regretted my eagerness a bit since Donkey Kong Country, Earthbound, Donkey Kong Country 2 and Super Metroid won't be available for about another month, and those are all I'm really interested in. If they release Earthworm Jim, Super C and the Megaman X games that would be cool too. What a humongous gameboy this is. It's a little less broad than the Vita when it's in 'clam' mode, but unfolded it's just gigantic. The screens are huge, and for some reason you have to unscrew the back of the system to get a memory card in, but otherwise it's a great piece of hardware. The additional circle pad takes some getting used to, it calls back to the little analog nub on the original PSP. It's funny since most games up to this point were built around people not having a second stick available, so I had to manually activate the feature in Monster Hunter. It's handy, but not being used to it is a weird handicap in some otherwise dual-stick oriented games. It feels like a legitimate upgrade from the previous 3DS systems I've enjoyed, and I'm hoping that there are some releases that actually make use of the hardware. The extraneous shoulder buttons and second stick have yet to feel completely necessary, but I'm sure this system is just what the original 3DS was to the original DS. Hopefully Super Mario Maker makes its way onto the system, and there's really no excuse not to have a mobile library of digitized GBA games at this point. |
My 3DS is just a Pokemon repository. I’ve picked up Alpha Sapphire again since I never got around to finishing that game, but I need to actually figure out where I got up to and where I need to go next before I can get back into the swing of things.

Right now I'm trying to defeat Undyne the Undying in Undertale Undercide rUn and it's fucking infuriating. Any of you Dunderfail fanboys got any tips?
Sorry. I really do love Undertale. It's a great game. But this fight is driving me up the wall. |
:
There are no special advices anybody can give you. Attack hard, avoid attacks, suck less ;) |
I know. I have no intention of defeating Sans, but I want to at least try
Fine |
Come on, don't give up before even starting! You can do it, eventually!

Besides that I've been playing a fuck tonne of Skyrim. An incomprehensible amount of mods to add new quests and such, and my favourite past time is seeing which ENB's make my computer cry the loudest. |
Has anyone finished The Witness? Is all this effort actually leading anywhere?

I'm glad everyone is playing Undertale. I love this game, and since Earthbound is finally, finally goddamn mawfugginfinally being released for a stable portable platform, I'm in the perfect mood for both of these games.
I'm on my first run, I just reached the Core. I've gone total pacifist so far, though I did have to look up how to get past Toriel (yup) and Undyne. I'm dreading that I might not get what I want out of the ending based on how I played, and I'm not even sure if I'll bother to beat the game some other way once I've completed this pacifist run. I just love that I can play an entire game without having to kill anything. As a pacifist should I still be at LV 1 with 20 HP? I'm hoping this gets released for the 3DS at some point, although apparently it would require a wholesale reprogramming of the game. It's just such a nice game. :
You'll have about five seconds to put some distance between the two of you or use healing items on the overworld before she chases you down and the fight resumes. You can do this three times, after which you'll just be able to flee as soon as she catches you. Or, you're talking about a format for this fight that I haven't seen during my pacifist run and this isn't helpful at all. |
:
Also, pacifist ending is meh. Fortunately, you don't get this one first. Still, no need to worry, carry on. |
OH, sorry, Mac, should've specified. I'm doing the Genocide run. Makes fighting Undyne a lot tougher.
I'll try doing it again with some of those speed items, but is it really worth losing the HP restore slot(s)? I'm already saving half my space (Astronaut food, pie and snowman pieces) for the final boss, hear the fight is nigh-impossible without them. |
Don't use speed items, not worth it IMO.
Genocide > Pacifist |
I've had Undertale installed on my Hard Drive for months and have yet to try it.
I gotta devote some time to it and see what all the fuss is about. |
Oooh yes.
|
:
Photoshop Flowey is one of the coolest looking bosses I've ever seen. |
Agreed, Neutral run is definitely the best
|
Undertale is like the new Five Nights at Freddie's. I can't wait for all the forced sequels.
|
Even though you're probably not serious, I'm pretty sure Toby Fox has already said that he really doesn't want to make a sequel to it. Assuming his opinion doesn't change, of course. Hopefully it doesn't.

Now it's pretty much nonexistent. As a creative person, this is a terrible sign; something brilliant, original, or just decent enough to earn a fanbase falls off the face of the entertainment world? That shows that SOMETHING integral to it isn't good enough to make it, and in turn the series or other related stuff, memorable. I've only ever played the demo, and it's boring, but I love the world, story, and characters of Undertale. Unlike FNAF, a LOT of thought put into the details of the game, like lore, was put in from the beginning. If any new stuff arrives, it's gonna be carefully made to stick. |
If somebody makes a comparison about Undertale and FNAF, he never played Undertale
|
To be honest I just thought FNAF was boring. I played about 40 minutes on Steam over two different playthroughs and just got tired of it.
Undertale is gorgeous. I completed it on Pacifist and didn't realise that the True Pacifist ending has more to it than just not killing anyone, so you have to go back and start from the beginning. Yeah, fucking Flowey is awesome though, his true-form boss music is the shit. Also... |
This one is better:
Also, you didn't have to restart from the beginning if you spared everyone on the first run |
:
|
Undertale on 3DS would be great.
