Yeah, it's a huge pile of arthouse wankery garbage. It takes an hour to tell a five minute story, padded to almost insufferable length. It actually tries so hard to be avant garde, that it almost comes off as a parody of itself.
The best part of the entire movie is the opening title sequence. I wouldn't recommend watching further than that. |

Good taste Steamer, I watched that too. Been a quiet month in terms of films. I've just been watching things like Salt, Source Code and RED on TV. I've had a more exciting time in terms of shows though, watching the penultimate Walking Dead episode of Series 3, watching Dexter series 1, Red Dwarf X on dvd and a variety of youtube videos. I tend to watch random things before I sleep like the Angry Videogame Nerd videos, or else a random LP. New series of Game of Thrones coming up this coming week, can't wait. Also excited to see The Voice back, as I enjoyed that show.

The last Adventure Time was amazing. If I could cry I would have.

Ice King's a bit of a peado isn't he.
E- So I just finished watching Scooby-Doo/Final Destination/Evil Dead/Silent Hill/Hellraiser/SCP Containment Breach AKA The Cabin in the Woods. I wasn't expecting much but holy shit, that is the best film I've seen in a long time. It completely surpassed My expectations and was utterly original. |
Ice King is suffering from severe dementia.
A fun thing to do with Cabin in the woods is to try to figure out what movies the monsters are from. They're all based on particular films or genres. I definitely saw Hellraiser in there |
I said that to My brother. I was like "well that's clearly based on pinhead". Also Yawn from Resident Evil and the ending seemed like SCP Containment Breach. And the whole first half of the film was pretty much Evil Dead.

I watched Buckethead's Secret recipe DVD. What a beautiful wonder he is. Buckethead is my favorite right now. I'm gonna play Giant Robot for my friend's birthday at a bar.
Here are some more Buckethead http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...OHxzswE#t=214s Seriously every music but this music is unbearable heart wrenching shlock compared to how I feel about Bucket right now. |

I watched Valhalla Rising the other night. Started out pretty slow, but I ended up liking it. |
I saw Contagion. Well worth the time, pulled a few interesting twists near the end.
Nah, just kidding. It was terrible. |

I am watching Firefly and I love it. |

scrabface and MA: I'm curious as to how long it took you to really like Firefly. I remember that the first time I watched it, my thoughts for the first few episodes were 'I don't get why everyone raves about this so much', but by the end of the series I was devastated that I'd run out of episodes to watch. Then there was my ex, who sat through a couple of episodes with a 'Go on, impress me' expression on his face and ended up refusing to watch any more. |
Does anybody remember Jim Henson's Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story from 2001? I bet it's a pile of shit, but I was like 5 or 6 when I first saw it with My dad, and I haven't seen it in years. So much nostalgia, I'll probably download it.

i know. i saw. |

I watched The Uninvited.
So basically I just watched a shit American ripoff of A Tale of Two Sisters. |
I just watched the Seinfeld finale.
It was... strange. I feel empty. Might be the greatest sitcom I've ever seen, and now I'm out of fresh stories. Ah, well. Maybe now I can go back to having a life. |
Watched the new series of Doctor Who last night and surprisely, I quite enjoyed it. The episode felt like a fresh new start, what with the new companion, new TARDIS Design and the Doctor's outfit has been change.
I hope the rest of the series is good, I hated the last series and I'm glad Amy is gone. (I'm so going to get killed for that) :tard: I also watched The Walking Dead. Coming up to the finale and I just cannot wait to see what's going happen. I know it's going to be a big battle between the Prison and Woodbury but I hope they don't kill off The Governor, He's such a great character and David Morrissey does a brilliant job playing him. |

I can't do the whole season crunching thing. Everyone does it nowadays, but I just don't have the attention span for it. |
Just finished the final episode of In the Flesh. This has proved to me that BBC is still one of the best, not only at thinking outside the box, but making drama. For a while the torch was wholeheartedly passed on to ITV but this has brought them back in my eyes.
The blood on Steve's hands as the realisation of what he had done dawns on him just made the episode for me. |
I watched the first episode but for some reason or another I just couldn't really get into it.
