Dynamithix 03-01-2011 12:49 PM

Meh, didn't like that very much.

EDIT: Felicia is damn cute!

Mr. Bungle 03-01-2011 01:10 PM

I wasn't talking about the song. Did you watch their performance? Fucking crazy for Jimmy Kimmel, or most mainstream talk-shows, really.

Dynamithix 03-01-2011 01:41 PM

*Fallon

And yeah, the performance itself was pretty wacky.

Mr. Bungle 03-01-2011 02:26 PM

Ah, my bad. I always confuse those two.

metroixer 03-01-2011 07:36 PM

exploding shark.....

(I think that's what the guy says at least)

Also for anyone that's interested in dubstep but can't really get into it, may I suggest some chill dubstep jazz? It's the only thing I really like out of the genre.

STM 03-02-2011 04:27 AM

It's a short film animation. And a good one to but I added it for the song the old fella sings.

Mr. Bungle 03-04-2011 01:01 PM

Been listening to screamo a lot lately. It's good shit.

The real screamo. Not that shit that gets falsely tagged as being screamo. That shit sucks.

Dynamithix 03-05-2011 03:26 AM

I like this. If I remember right, it was in some Dead Space ad/trailer. (?) And also in a South Park episode.

Kimon 03-05-2011 11:20 AM

Old news, and I may have posted it before, but yumyum

OddjobAbe 03-05-2011 01:32 PM

If you don't watch all of this, at least watch it to the end from 3:07.

STM 03-06-2011 06:19 AM

Grew up listening to this!

ziggy 03-06-2011 08:13 AM

This was the song I was talking about from the Kick Ass movie, the only thing I loved about it. Some one finally uploaded a good video of it. Some of the best stage antics ever!

MeechMunchie 03-06-2011 01:01 PM

Dedicated to OANST.

If sirens were male and lived on land, they'd sound like Fleet Foxes.

Mr. Bungle 03-06-2011 02:18 PM

That's strangely coincidental. I came in here to dedicate this to OANST:

scrabface 03-06-2011 02:34 PM

meh - delete me

Phylum 03-06-2011 11:09 PM

This thread is suffering from a severe lack of Ian Dury.

Mr. Bungle 03-08-2011 02:15 PM

I'm not a huge Opeth fan, but I've loved this song for quite some time now. Beautiful.

Ridg3 03-10-2011 09:17 AM

Angela Gossow, eat your heart out.

Mr. Bungle 03-11-2011 12:14 PM

The new Pains of being Pure at Heart album is streaming. Very good so far. Recommended for fans of My Bloody Valentine, Beach House, Slowdive, or Cocteau Twins.

kapteeni13 03-12-2011 07:12 AM

Sonata Arctica - Wolf & Raven

Sonata Arctica - Kingdom For A Heart
Sonata Arctica - Replica
Sonata Arctica - Fullmoon

Pink - So What
Pink - Raise Your Glass

Wings of Fire 03-12-2011 09:34 AM

Wow, way to show off Sonata Arctica's wangsty songs.

This is good

So is this

This is pretentious and wangsty as fuck but I still like it.

Ridg3 03-12-2011 09:52 AM

I liked The Power of One, very progressive sounding which is something I'm beginning to really enjoy in songs. And thanks to that I'm starting to listen to way more Symphony X and Dream Theater than I have ever done.

Also, Amaranthe totally released their debut single and video without me even realizing. I've been listening to/following this band ever since the summer of 2010 and they are pretty fantastic. I have to say I prefer the layout of the song on the demo track than I do in the mastered version.

And I don't why there's Universal Studios plastered just before the video.

Josh 03-12-2011 10:05 AM

I just found out that Senior co-wrote Lady GaGa's Born This Way. Small world.

Dynamithix 03-13-2011 09:09 AM

I like this song, heh. I think someone posted it about a month ago.

ziggy 03-13-2011 09:26 AM

I like all those bands yet I didn't enjoy what you posted at all. I don't really see much of a comparison.

Or maybe I just have to let it grow on me...eh who knows.

Mr. Bungle 03-13-2011 02:03 PM

I dunno, I thought they were pretty similar. Same kinda shoegaze-y stuff.

In other news, I finally took advice from OANST and listened to Black Foliage in full sometime last week. I haven't stopped listening since. It's fucking brilliant. The only thing I don't like is the 11-minute track of random noises.

Greatness.

Ridg3 03-13-2011 03:24 PM

That's it, I've figured it out. I like Nightwish for Marco Heitala. He is just... perfect. Fucking beard, bass and voice of a raucous angel.

EDIT: Fucking mouth.

Dynamithix 03-14-2011 09:36 AM

Mr. Bungle 03-14-2011 11:18 AM

Been crazy into Aphex Twin lately. Like, actually listening to more than his debut album:

Dynamithix 03-14-2011 01:06 PM

I had to start playing DJ Hero again since I love the mixes in it.

Mr. Bungle 03-16-2011 12:10 PM

I had to.

Ridg3 03-16-2011 12:13 PM

First time I seen that I listened to the whole thing, her voice didn't get to be really annoying until about 2:50.

But;
:

Tomorrow is Saturday,
And Sunday comes,
Afterwards.
Best shittiest lyric ever.

Dynamithix 03-16-2011 12:13 PM

Screw you, Bungle! I was about to post that too.

Anyways, it's horrible.

Mr. Bungle 03-16-2011 12:16 PM

It's fucking amazing. You must have been redirected to a different video, because I cannot possibly see why you would say that.

On a more serious note:

I bought this album yesterday, it's awesome.

Ridg3 03-16-2011 12:18 PM

I prefer Rebbecca Black.

Mr. Bungle 03-16-2011 12:20 PM

Of course. How can you not?

MeechMunchie 03-16-2011 12:40 PM

She's almost as good as Justin.

Favourite song in the world right now.
