Yeah, Why the fuck didn't I just do a power chord instead of a fake one? -_-

Varrok 05-09-2013 08:23 AM

I meant it looks like you're flipping the finger at us

Manco 05-09-2013 10:11 AM

Bismuth is a rad element.

Varrok 05-09-2013 10:23 AM

The low photo quality compared to the enormous resolution size makes me cry inside a little

Holy shit, I can't believe you have Hit and Run. I used to love that game as a kid, despite how awful it was.

That photo is higher resolution than my monitor.

Awful? Have you ever tried the instant explosions on contact cheat? I used to use it all the time and try driving the remaining car frames around.

Nepsotic 05-09-2013 02:07 PM

I had it on PS2, and.despite how fun it was, it was a terrible game.

MeechMunchie 05-09-2013 02:19 PM

Isn't a game's quality normally determined by how fun it is?

Nepsotic 05-09-2013 02:20 PM

No.
Is a film determined by how enjoyable it is to watch?

Manco 05-09-2013 02:25 PM

Yes?

RoryF 05-09-2013 02:29 PM

Personally, I had more fun messing with the cheats and minigames instead of the actual game itself.

So it's Grand Theft Auto?

Yes?

Yes.

It was lazily made, certainly, but it wasn't bad. It just could have been better.

Nepsotic 05-09-2013 08:35 PM

So, Saw is a good film? Final Destination is a good film?

Dynamithix 05-09-2013 08:47 PM

Well, neither of those are even fun to watch to begin with so...

Also, Hit & Run was great.

So it's Grand Theft Auto?

Essentially, but there tends to be less gun violence in Hit and Run.

So, Saw is a good film? Final Destination is a good film?

The first Saw is pretty good, and the original Final Destination is silly but very good fun to watch.

So yes. Nep, artistic merit =/= quality. There are plenty of terrible arthouse films.

Manco 05-09-2013 11:13 PM

I think Nepsotic is straying into "entertainment value is subjective", which is dumb because how do you objectively define a good movie?

Also why are we discussing movies n the desktop thread?

Git'Im 05-20-2013 02:43 PM

keepin it simple, the only thing on my desktop is the wallpaper. i would freak out if my desktop was cluttered

The original version of this image is from here and is 19MB large. It's amazing.

Varrok 06-16-2013 08:27 PM

And yet you used a mirror image for the other screen instead of having one big image on two, like nature intended

Nate 06-16-2013 08:36 PM

I didn't want to have to crop out the bottom half of the image.

Varrok 06-16-2013 08:42 PM

Fair enough

How do you upload such a big image on photobucket with great quality? Mine's always like this...

It took me ages to work out. When you go to upload, click the 'Customize Upload Options' link, then select the 'Display my linked photos in their original sizes' option.

I wish you could still link to the image without having to load the Photobucket page, but it looks like that's not possible any more. I should probably stop using Photobucket.

Do I have to do that every time I upload something? Because I already had that marked and it still came with the fuzzy compression bullshit. Also, big .GIF files tend to lose their size and be much smaller. Is there a work around this to? Because I've tried and still came shit from the other side.
