You have to press f8 to quickload, it wont automatically load you at the quicksave

Or on controller, hold whatever button you use to quicksave.

It took me until the Stockyards to work out :p

By the way, the reason you got that menu popup when you loaded your QuikSave was because you went through a level load since saving.

Because people can not click it? With text it's one thing, because the subforum saves entire threads of spoiler tags.

Hi all, just wanted to give my 2c on NnT. I absolutely love the game but, I think its too bright. When i played oddworld as a kid it frightened me. I expected NnT to give that feeling all over again. There's almost no silhouetting anymore and the blood 'n gore factor has been tuned down severely. It's become almost goofy in a way with its ragdoll physics but c'mon that's not what the humorously sadistic producers at the original OI would've wanted is it? Plus WTF is up with the in game ads, thats some bullshit right there:compmad:. Otherwise i love NnT to death and am excited to possibly see an AE remake in the future.

I only just finished downloading the game an hour ago and have been playing it since. The only issue I've had so far is that my computer loads the game too fast for me to read more than one line of the text during the loading screens.

FIX IT JAW.

I must admit, I do miss the shadows and silhouetting. I disliked how they changed the shadows to smoke coming from pipes. Hiding the shadows was always really cool. And the brightness and bloom effects are one of the more common complains. An option to decrease it would be nice.

Oddworld was goofy waaaay before New 'N' Tasty. And before people say the original was dark and gritty. You could fart on command for god sake. I for one love Oddworld's goofiness. NnT nails it with the cutscenes.

Do you mean the ads for indie games? JAW removed those in the PC release.
