Yeah, since going to art college I'm now of the opinion that Interesting > Tuneful. Best to have both, of course.

Shitting myself with excitement, I'm off to see Krzysztof Penderecki conduct his own (and Lutosławski's) work tonight and in October. He's my favourite living composer, I always thought he'd die before I got to see him.

fucking tunes, man. |
Interesting stuff, mixing acoustic with some... trap elements? Their debut LP's out in two days, pretty excited.

Also, this song is pretty good: http://youtu.be/bsKo_LtShsw Herb Alpert has some splendid tunes. |
Do you know the Beatles version?
It has vocals, so it differs greatly |
I wasn't aware the Beatles ruined my favorite song.

It's... it's okay. Nothing special, nothing bad. Just good
Though I like how she sings "I am bowling" at 0:38. Bowling is cool. Also, it's from Experiments Lain. I was wondering where I heard that before |
I love this piece. Practically Mingus' answer to a Romantic era symphony, there's so much contrast and drama. I'd implore everyone to listen to the whole thing and play it very loud, although it's unlikely anyone will listen to it for more than a few minutes or without skipping through it. In which case, it's your loss. |
Widespread Panic anyone....
|
i love that, man. nice one.

♫ Timy lost his mind ♫

I recently listened to this after ingesting psilocybin mushrooms and I found myself gliding through the universe to its beat. One of those barely known stoner rock bands that just have so much talent. Stoner Rock is the only genre that produces music currently that consistently shows instrumental talent. One of the most powerful and sentimental songs ever made to me... |

Rick and Morty has introduced me to a lot of good music.
Also it's own Goodbye Moonmen is fantastic. |
K-Billy's Super Sounds of the Seventies
