I've been listening to a lot of Folk music thanks to Harry Smith's Anthology of American Folk Music. I don't love all of it, but it's good to have one buzzing in my head when I'm, trying to make a song up. Here's my fave featuring amination. A friend of mine has been trying to broaden the range of music I listen to, so he's gotten me into Dark Heresy. I honestly couldn't tell you what specific variety of Metal this falls under, but I like it a lot and I hate Metal. So here's this.

Pretty much anything off Man on the Moon: The End of Day is great, that's one of my favourite albums of the past few years. His A Kid Named Cudi mixtape is great as well, I'd get that if you haven't already. It's very sample-heavy but done in a unique way so it doesn't sound he's blanatantly ripping off the artists he samples.

I groaned when I saw Tenacious D, but the guitar riff in that song is great. I still didn't listen to it. It was one thing when I was stupid and didn't know any better, but liking a group like that is social suicide with my musician friends.

Our Boy's choir is singing this. It's amazing. Simplicity at its finest.

The lyrics are a bit "meh", but the music itself is actually good. If your friends don't accept your musical choices, that's fucked up...

Tenacious D is and always has been shit.

The new Godspeed album is very beautiful. I recommend it for anyone who likes well thought out, composed and produced music.

By the way, the two songs are 20 minutes. But worth every second.
