Don't play with my feelings.

You know I'm never gonna give you up.

Still playing Skyrim.
75 hours dedicated so far, only questline complete is the main story. Currently on my way to the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary. 225 locations discovered and explored. Hurr |
Got a 3DS and Ocarina of Time. Oh I love the nostalgia!
|
Nice. I'm still playing though Ocarina very slowly. Amazing game, I've heard the 3DS revamp is amazing.
|
Still playing Orks in Dark Crusade. Got a big-ass honour guard, they all seem to have something interesting to say. I'm in the Tau stronghold right now. It's a tiny map, but the Tau are so fucking OP it's impossible. Waaagh...

I looked up an LP of Dark Crusade I've seen before but the guy hasn't posted the second part yet. Just...funnel firewarios into your Warbosses and bring out Tankbustas as soon as you can.
I've been playing Tactics Odour: The Nightsoil of Loads. It's a GBA game by the company that made Final Fantasy Tactics. It's the next step up in strategem, y'all. It's neat, and there's a pretty well-written story clinging to its underside. The music is horrible, but motivates you to play in short bursts so I guess that's good. I'm also replaying Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I'm paying better attention this time. |
Still playing a lot of Street Fighter. Still loving it.
Getting a bit better at Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Still suck, but not as much. Also been playing Saints Row the Third. A barrel of fun, that game is. It's just so ridiculous and wacky and crazy and awesome that I can play for hours without doing a single mission. |

That should be enough to get the edge and take out that fucking Mont'ka. |
Been playing Tombi, I got 1 and 2 on PSx. I also downloaded Hogs of War. ARRRRR!!!
|
Hogs of War is great.
I played some Burnout 3 with my dad yesterday. Damn fun. |
Minecraft 360 edition. I like it. A lot.
|
How does it compare to the PC version? I liked that one.
|
I never played the pc version, so I really couldn't tell you,

That fucked him off. He doesn't like losing. I think that's the reason why he never plays games anymore. I did catch him playing FIFA on my Xbox last year. That was...surprising. |
Portal 2, World of Tanks, Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer, Tiny Tower, Dragonball Z Harukanaru Densetsu, Advance Wars: Dark Conflict
|
I've been playing a awful lot of Fallout New Vegas. I've just reached level 10 and I have a sinper fella called Boone as a partner. He kills everything for me :)
|
Street Fighter IV. Nothing else. Finally mastered Akuma. Fuck yeah. FEEL THE WRATH OF THE RAGING DEMON!
Does anyone here play Street Fighter or am I pretty much the only one? |
I tried playing SF4. I hated it.
|
It has a very steep learning curve. I personally think it's the best game this generation. At least, for multiplayer.

I'm not saying it's bad but that's the problem is with Street Fighter and fighting games in general, It's just the same game over and over again. That and I'm also terrible at them. Only Smash Bros has really taken my interest. |
Most fighting games can be like that, agreed. But with Street Fighter I find Capcom always finds a way to make their games different. They tweak them so subtly that you still feel like you're playing Street Fighter but it still feels fresh and original.
And I have Street Fighter Alpha 3 on my PS3, I really like it but the fact that I have to use the d-pad annoys me. It also leaves my thumb feeling like it just went through a blender. And yeah, they are all pretty much the same game, only with more characters in each version. I think the only core difference is that there's an extended storyline that arcs throughout the three games, but really, who cares about story in fighting games? |
I'm playing Resident Evil 4: HD. Using a an HDMI cable it looks great. The graphics have aged a little bit but everything is a little clearer and the resolution is very uhh...crisp. My only gripe with the graphics update is that the brightness seems a little high by default (I vaguely remember RE4 on the GameCube letting you adjust the brightness upon starting a new game), but that can be easily fixed through the options. It plays completely the same. Only difference being the PS3 controller is set up minutely differently than a WiiMote or GCN.
Unfortunately the sound has suffered a LOT in the port from Wii to PS3/360. A lot of the sounds are needlessly gritty and hollow. Like some small man just off screen is using a boombox full of sound effects to give help with the atmosphere. Some small hairy man. It doesn't adversely effect anything, just takes you a little out of the atmosphere. Also, the square button on my controller sticks so all the parts where you have to button mash to ESCAPE THE BOULDER take like 3 tries. Worth buying, obviously. Comes with all of the addons from the previous releases of RE4 so it's worth your time. |
Sonic CD for Android. I already own and have completed the original Sega CD/Sega Mega CD version but I was curious to learn about this new port which if I am correct, is essentially exactly the same on all it's platforms it has been released on (XBLA, PSN, iOS, Android). After paying for the game on Google Play, I was met with confusion, as the file was only 88KB big.
After opening the game, it said that it needed to download extra files to run, well, why in the hell didn't it just download them all in the first place? Getting the files was a nightmare, first, it took forever to download, now my phone is set to lock itself after 1 minute if inactivity, problem is, when the phone locked, it would need to start the ridiculously long download again! So I set the lock time to the maximum settings which is 10 minutes and just kept pressing buttons on my phone to stop it locking! So finally, I got the files, and this port is actually way better than the original Sega CD release, the graphics look gorgeous and now the special stages have no frame rate issues like it did originally. There are also some great extras like changing the music between the Japanese/Europe and US versions (in my opinion the Japanese/Europe is the best). Tails is even an unlockable character which was a feature not eve present in the original, controls feel great to and are very simple. Overall, a port that's better than the original release in many ways, oh, and of course, it is THE best Sonic game ever made. |
Wasn't Sonic CD the only good game on the Sega CD?
Oh and on Fallout New Vegas, I wondered into Vault 34 and got absolutely destroyed by Feral ghouls. :/ |

Is New Vegas worth getting if I finished the main quest in Fallout 3?

They're different games.
If you enjoyed FO3 you'll probably like NV. |
