Still playing Ocarnia. Stuck inside some fish which somehow is a dungon with maps and everything.

I think it makes the photos look better. |

After paying all that money for the game then realising how hard it actually was, he got very worried. |
How much?
|
I think the collector's edition is actually priced the same as the regular game. At least that's the case in here.
|
Yeah, as far as I know he paid around £40 for it.
|
Nice price for a collectors edition.

God I hated Jabu Jabu. Weirdly, none of Majora's dungeons ever irrited me...I think. Usually all Zelda's have "that one dungeon"
|
The water dungeon was pretty shitty, though mostly because of the boss.
|
which one, oot or mm?
|
MM. I can never remember the names of MM dungeons apart from the Stone Tower.
|
it was a pain, though it didnt make me want to strangle a certain Zora princess...

I bought a 1600MSP card today since I has no Batman yet. Any recommendations for arcade games? I'm considering Limbo, Mercury Hg and the new DLC for DX:HR. All of them are 1200 except Mercury Hg which is only 400.
|
I havnt played the dlc yet, but HR was amazing.
|
Yes, I know. I've played it through four times. I heard the DLC is pretty good and that it's like 5 hours long, but the price is really high.

Also had fun with the x-men arcade port, but it's short. Really short. ilomilo is fun if you have someone to play with in local co-op. Earthworm jim is fun if you grew up with/like the original. |
I don't have Castle Crashers, but the trial was really fun so I'm considering that too now. I also tried out the first Deathspank's trial, it wasn't really my type, but it seems alright. From Dust was pretty interesting at first, but it's a bit too pricey.
I think I'm going to save the points for a while, there are a lot of arcade games coming out anyways later on. Also, Crysis caught my eye, but then again, you can get it for the PC for half the price with superior graphics so... |

That said, I guess a lot of it is more about timing and jumping, standard platformer stuff. |
replaying heavy rain for the hell of it. JASOOOON.
|
Such a contrived plot.
I seriously hope western developers can make something with a little more substance than style next time they try that. |
Give the frenchies a break, at least they tried. And it certainly was unique. At least it wasnt as catastrophic a backfire as fable turned out...Molyneux, I love ya, but...SHUT YOUR MOUTH.

Plus Limbo's one of the only new cinematic platformers in a while.
|
Limbo is even worse than AO when it comes to frustration.
|
:
She must be somewhere but them floating electric jellyfish keep re-spawning and annoy the hell outta me. |
You die in Limbo almost as horrifically as Andy from Heart of Darkness, lol

So I went and bought the new Deus Ex DLC, The Missing Link. I'm glad I did, it's worth the hefty price. I haven't even beaten it yet and I'm over 3 hours into it and I heard there's an awesome boss fight at the end. Really good so far!

I'm playing Kindgom Hearts 2: Final Mix, which was never released outside of Japan. It's a bit odd considering I don't know any Japanese, but I've played KH2 enough times that I remember what items do and where to go. I don't understand the Gummi Ship missions at all, but they were fairly confusing in English.
It's essentially the same as the English version, but there's a new super-hard difficulty setting, new abilities, new enemies, recoloured old enemies, new areas, new items, Mushrooms XIII, new cutscenes, new synthesis recipes and a puzzle minigame which involves collecting puzzle pieces throughout the worlds. The new difficulty is really, really hard. Enemies do x2 damage and you gain experience at x0.75 the usual rate, but you start with a few neat abilities, including one called EXP-Zero that I'm not brave enough to equip. You also gain HP in half of the usual intervals meaning that you only end up with 60 instead of 120 at the end of the game. Any enemy is easy to take down on their own, but once they get into groups of 3 or more even the weakest enemies become a challenge. I was mobbed rather brutally by 6 Soldiers in Beast's Castle. Large Body's half you health in a single hit. Tougher bosses seem to knock you down to 1 HP in one combo if not a single hit. I really like the puzzle pieces because they give you a reason to explore, jump around and learn drive-form abilities. There was no intensive beyond OCD to do any of these things in KH2. |
I finished Arkham City's main quest. Holy hell that was good.
|
I always wanted to try final mix...Are their any new scenes? I heard there's one with Xemnas that relates to Aqua.
|
You mean this scene?
There are a few new cutscenes shining a bit more light onto the Organisation. It's nothing really significant if you know the storylines of CoM, Days and BBS. It's really worth getting, even thought it's a hassle to bypass region protection. Critical Mode adds a new depth to the game, plus there is enough new stuff for me to justify playing through that god-awful introduction in Twilight Town again. You need to know the game fairly well if you don't speak Japanese, though. |
I know all of KH well. Any new keyblades? Perhaps better than Ultima?
|
There are only 2 new keyblades, Winners Proof and Two Become One. Some of the pointless keyblades such as Gull Wing have been nurfed.
Winners Proof has +5 str, +7 magic and the ability EXP-Zero. Two Become One has +5 str, +4 magic and the ability Light and Dark which increases your chance of becoming Anti or Final from when you drive. They're obtained from the Mushroom XIII and Roxas battle respectively. Everything different about the game is listed here. |
Ah, cool. Though I think Anti form's a pain in the ass...Always happens against Saix for some reason...ugh.
