I agree with Scrabino. I think Max and STM need to sex each other up. Speaking of horrible things to do in Minecraft, I was banned off a few servers in the classic Minecraft for building really, REALLY large swastikas. I was unhappy with their decision seeing as I built it the Buddhist way and it wasn't offensive.

For everyone's information, the swastika is not just a logo for Nazi's and the like. It does have other meaning, and seeing as I didn't replicate the one that is used by the Nazi's, I don't see myself as having done wrong.

The association with Nazi Germany is way way way bigger than the origin of the actual symbol, especially with today's youth on Minecraft who probably only know the symbol from WW2 and see it, like a lot of people, as the symbol that represents the millions of people who were killed in that war.

To go ahead and proudly display it as a symbol of inner peace and positiveness is ignorant at best.

Our actions are never perceived in a vacuum; you need to take in to account the context in which people are viewing them. You may well say that the swastika is a Sanskrit symbol, but the entire shape (whether mirror imaged or not) has entered public consciousness as a symbol of fascism and hate.

To put it another way, it would be like me being arrested for walking down the street nude and then declare that I'm paying homage to my African tribal ancestors. Or if I had sex with a 14 year old and then claiming that I had a fondness for Serbia.


All of which is moot, because I firmly believe you did it to get a reaction and intentionally did it in the Sanskrit-style in order to have an excuse to complain (and feel intellectually superiour) about it afterwards.

Anyway, I made another redstone circuit tutorial. Thanks to pistons, it's now possible to have a door going over a railway track, BUT it only works in one direction thanks to Minecraft not letting me have 2 pistons move opposite each other in the same direction at the same time unless this circuit is used. FFS. Better than not at all though.
