Mass Effect 1 had an incredibly poor opening that told you stuff instead of showing you. Oh hey, here's a planet, here's some guy who dies, then bam! you're in the citadel and you're now super agent guy. It was way too fast a transition.

Then, thread your missions with incredibly boring wandering around in the ridiculous gravity-defying buggy, a shitty particle-effects nightmare of a shooter, and then finish up with the most exciting sequence of the game happening outside the window while you shoot a guy on a surfboard.

Fucking gay.

I've tried for years to get into KOTOR but I never got passed that last guy in the arena (can't remember anything about it). I just hated the gameplay, it reminded me so much of WOW and FFXII, hate that shit besides it's not even in HD so like what's the point??

I downloaded I Wanna Be The Guy earlier today, although I'm starting to wonder what possessed me to do it in the first place. I still haven't figured out how to get past the spiky area beyond the moving spiked walls in the opening level... (I refuse to use a walkthrough, as I'm in a bit of a stubborn mood tonight. XD)

It helps if you go up from the first screen and do the easiest section first.

Though the clouds on the third screen will fuck you up.

Usually, about half of the protagonist cast in a Gundam show die. It depends of the show, of course. Concerning main characters, one has died outright, one was level brain-damaged, one maimed, and one was absorbed by an alien ai thingy.

Actually, most of them have smaller eyes then you're thinking. the majority colour is brown. Also they come in several age groups, not ten year olds.

Even at it's worst, it's still much better than "An alien robot crab ate an ancient civilization and here shoot at this hopper palette swap while we kill it out the window".

I didn't say it was shit I just said i didn't like it, it's probably a great game once you get your lightsaber. I just figured if I don't like the gameplay there's no point in going on, but I'm sure plenty of people are into that sort of gameplay.
