Yeah, I defintly prefer something physical instead of in game content. However, if they must go with the latter I usually only dislike it if it is in multiplayer, giving pre-order people an unfair advantage. I really don't care if someone wants to walk through an RPG with god mode armor or a dick sword or whatever.

I'd prefer that kind of thing just to be in the full game, but I guess if it was a cosmetic item then it isn't so bad. I would hate to miss out on a cool quest or weapon because I didn't buy the special edition. Especially in a game like Skyrim.

Yeah, but to be honest, that's what the game developers are doing nowadays. Especially the whole 'pre-order to get this and this DLC' is almost in every game now.

Then again, it isn't that much of a bad thing. In my opinion, if you pre-order the game, it's fair that you get some content to the game, but it shouldn't be exclusive. It should be made available to the people who bought the game used or didn't pre-order too. For a small price maybe.

In my opinion, this trailer makes the new game mode look really boring. Definitely not buying MW3, it looks so generic.

Under the pretence that you bought the first two, this sentence is tickling my funny bone.

Spec Ops was the best fucking part of MW2, but making it a straight up survival mode, instead of missions, misses what made it great entirely. I'm pretty sure they have both the missions and the survival mode though. I won't be getting MW3, but if they ever put up Spec Ops as a download for like $15, I would buy it in a heart beat.

Seriously, though. The community is the biggest factor in me not buying this game. The strengths of a game like this really lie in team games, but every single team game I play is shit because no one in the team works like a team. They're too busy improving their "pro sniper skillz".

Also, they spill over into other games. The bottom tier in Quake Live (the tier I'm in) mainly consists of Instagib matches in my area.

You're wrong. I bought Call of Duty 4 and I was impressed how good it was, I have played Modern Warfare 2, but I would never pay for that game.

Space Marine looks fucking sweet, but its wedged between Deus Ex and Gears 3, Ill have to pick it up at a later date. I hope it does well though, it looks great, but there is so much stuff coming out this year its hard to see it making it out of the shelves.

Oh and btw, I'm not getting that Collector's edition, it doesn't even come with a soundtrack for the game, the statue is about the same size as the Duke Nukem Forever bust. (Which is really small.) and there's no case for the game, the game disc is inside the artbook. Lame.

I only pre-ordered the game itself in Gamestop to get the 4 huge posters (which look amazing.) and I'm canceling the pre-order tomorrow.

This is an upcoming survival horror game. (I assume.) This version is just a prototype and I think you can download the demo on their website. To be honest, it looks very good for a very early build of the game.
