Not necessarily. Lorne had multiple visions of how AO would start; the fisherman concept was only one of them.

That’s just one iteration. In another he was not a floor waxer but an animal artificial inseminator/critter whisperer.
p.s. Heh, didn’t see the next page. |
I don't remember anyone mentioning artifical insemination. Perhaps that's just what your mind leaps to.

Question: we heard something about Mudombies in the artbook, but would Mudombies have been enemies to Abe or friends? And would Abe have had to fight them if they were enemies or say them to follow him if they were friends?
Thats actually a pretty good question. Im not sure but I think they would have just been mindless enemies, put there to guard the temples.
Im sure Max'll know. |
Think angry mudokon in control of a bonesaw. A potentially fatal obstacle, but needs to be saved.
Maybe Abe must pass them without killing them... a very hard tricky thing.
Nate, you are right. My mistake.
When was the last time you knew a zombie to be anything but an enemy? And don’t point out any films, shows, games, or stories where they aren’t; fiction doesn’t count. |

I was going to mention Dr. Owen Harper, but your fineprint clauses block that example.
That's a tricky case. He wasn't really a zombie, he was just, ah... broken.
Baron Saturday from Witches Abroad, then.
They also could be disturbed Mudokons turned into monsters and Abe must save them with special birds portals but without beating them...
:
http://www.oddworld.au.com/universe/...paramite01.jpg I rest my case. |
I can't understand why you posted them but Abe may kill Paramites and Scrabs during his travel.
Thing is, why would you save a zombie? It's already dead.
I think Abe would have more respect for his dead brethren than a Scrab or Paramite, and also the fact that a Mudombie is already dead. Since it has reawakened due to being disturbed, Abe would have to put them at rest again, by removing the industrialists from the area. Once they are gone, the Mudombies spirit can rest once more. I cba to go look in the book.
Or something. |

What are Skrikits? And how do we know there are fleas on Oddworld?
Skrikits is a made up name for the green insects that appeared on the early Munch’s Oddysee logo.
:
If you trusted promotional material, you'd believe that Oddworld has bears.
Well, why else would there be a bear trap?
To capture those large, hairy queers.
All bears on Oddworld are queers.
Running around with thier good fashion sense and witty anticks, we can't have it I say!! |
