I love UnderTheSun's idea. The mudokons themselves were always kind of a 'collectible' in a way, but that addition would be a really nice source of lore for fans and in a way that adds a nice challenge and more replayability!
E: I also love emmarose's interpretation! I do think 8291 will end up being a factory number like 1029 was for Rupture Farms.. "where" and "8291" on the same image make me think they're related, and they look like they're being hauled to some factory/labor camp |
:
Proof. https://www.oddworld.com/soulstorm/ABEFACE_8291.jpg So in otherwords, 8291 means abe |
How is that proof that 8291 means Abe? 8291 has appeared a lot of places in this ARG
|
:
But true, no confirmation. Im still not sure it is 8291 in the image |
It may have already been posted, or maybe it doesnt matter. Has anyone noticed that the two letters that are with the numbers of the previous torn image spell "alpha numerically"?
Like I said, maybe its not a big deal but wanted to throw in my two cents. Quoted from 'ThemanonMudos' on page 13. On a tablet now, so im limited to my editing on the forum. "I've tried assigning each number to a letter of the alphabet and got this: AL-9394 PH-5574 AN-7393 UM-9455 ER-2384 IC-3786 AL-7676 LY-1029 = ICID EEGD GEIC IDEE W HD CGHF GFGF J BJ Not sure if there's an anagram to be made here or if I'm on completely the wrong track. (Note: the 'W' and 'J' are from the numbers '23' and '10')" __________________ |

Since I can't wait patiently for Thursday and I wasn't around if/when the reflections in Abe's eyes were discussed, here's a little image I made. Any thoughts?
https://i.imgur.com/5IrE0zw.png I also find it interesting that the filename of Abe's face is the only one that doesn't follow suit with the others. The chest image, chestfull.jpg, the hand handfull.jpg, Abe's face... ABEFACE_8291.jpg. It seems a little odd. |

https://pbs-0.twimg.com/media/C3DtlX5UoAAtV3E.jpg If you take all the number and make letters you get A-BI BCHD CGHE EEGD GCIC GFGF ICID IDEE Looks like a code for a online serivce of some sort like PSN or Steam. If we add in the other letter with it A-BILY BCHDER CGHEIC EEGDPH GCICAN GFGFAL ICIDAL IDEEUM So I appear to get a different translation to others And if you reverse cipher Z-YQ LY YXRW ER XSRT IC VVSW PH SXQX AN STST AL QXQW AL QWVV UM If you take the PNG letters you can spell " I can hear AL my i" or "my, I can hear AL UP" or something along those lines or "All Ya, I can hear nicmn" Funny it can also spell "Alphanumeric, Yall" |
Also apparently 0451, the number sequence in the image links, is a code used in several video games. Guess it started in the game Deus Ex and is in reference to the book Fahrenheit 451.

Hey Guys out of Abe's Exoddus the Story was very rich in Detail back in 1998 Exoddus really took oddworld to another like the simple quiksave which we didnt have in oddysee so yeah but Exoddus really did change the game seriously most games owe it to oddworld for inspiration like no another.

I can't wait to see what we got right and most importantly what we missed or haven't figured out yet :) and we still have 4 more to figure out!
|
Exciting day ahead.

Would you tell us what it does mean?... please |
:
Yeah, looks like we are still missing something here, but at this point people are more busy looking at shadows on that piece of paper than trying to crack codes :p |

Savour this moment guys, we're about to witness brand new Oddworld content :D
|
:
;( will stay on topic! just exited :fuzzle: |
No worries, we all are
EDIT: I just noticed the oddworld.com/soulstorm site now says: :

|
Ah, correct about the glukkon overseer :D Looks amazing!
Notice '110110BC' vertically, far left in the dark area Also two other strings of numbers/letters; vertically next to the three lines, that looks to be possibly 100BB0BB and another horizontally, bottom right. Could be 01010BB0, or perhaps 010100BB? I can't quite tell! |

I've been having a look - I think the three number sequences we can see in the picture now are all different. One says "110110BC" - I'm absolutely certain of it Another says "010100BD" - I'm not 100% sure of the last letter and the third starts with: "100......." but then I can't make out the rest |
Hey guys, been watching this ARG since the start and wanted to congratulate you all on the first uncovering of a photo! I'm not much help to you having seen your skill levels, but I'll do my best to give my input from now on.
