Yeah, Gamespot is usually tougher on games than IGN but now I just go by the Metacritic score. Although in this case IDC what the ciritcs say because I liked what I played in the demo.

The trick is to find reviewers who generally agree with you on most things, as they will be the most helpful on if you will like a game or not. Also, you only need to see the Uncharted 3 shitfest to see how detrimental MetaCritic is.

That’s true enough, but then according to IGN Sonic Unleashed is worse than Sonic 2006.

Supposedly someone from Rockstar leaked a shit load of info about GTA V. I've seen some of the same info on other sites too, but I can't guarantee that this is real, but this is what everyone keeps saying:
- You play as a latino guy called Adrian - It takes place in San Andreas in 2012 - There is multiplayer and co-op supposedly, 32 players for console, 64 for PC - Gang wars are back - It has the same cities as San Andreas, but with more details and new places - Car mods are back - Cheats are back - Better cover system STORY STUFF! Don't read if you don't want to know. - You begin the game by waking up somewhere, beaten up and mugged by a rival gang - The story revolves around a money deal Don't read if you actually care about the story! I'm serious! - Protagonist dies in the end (WHAT A SURPRISE!) and you continue the game with his brother - The 'money deal' is a massive drug deal that's being shipped to San Andreas and the gangs are fighting over it and the story is based around it Can't guarantee any of that so don't count on it. Teaser trailer's out today so we'll find out more about it then. |

An Alan Wake downloadable game will be announced at the VGAs this year, along with a new Bioware game and some new Metal Gear Rising info. Really excited for new Alan Wake stuff, loved the first one, I need to catch the next sale they have on the download codes for it.

@Schlecht Anyone else thinking that this was a planned heist from Activision? Like they plan this to get the hype out there? A lot of crazy stories been floating around about this game and when a man like Bobby Kotick, anything is possible... Especially when they know Battlefield 3 is a threat to their industry after receiving good reviews. |
If cops are involved, and I imagine they would be very quickly, then no. A company like Activision wouldn't risk breaking the law - or being seen to do so - for the purposes of self-promotion.

I plan to buy Skyward Sword when I get back to england at christmas. My Wii has been in storage since Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn/Super Smash Bros Brawl in 2008 so I hope I don't have any problems.
