Has anyone else noticed more squid since the update?

Yes! I went over the ice near RF and there was around 5 squid under the ice. There's only 1 block of water between the ice and the ground where they were, so they were pretty jumpy but still OMG SKWEEED

Edit: It's probably more relevant if you knew that I'd never seen squid before except maybe once underneath a large pool of water between lands

Minecraft seems pretty fun so far, but I cant seem to stick to one world.
The last world I created, I made a pretty ok house, then found a huge cave with lots of valuable minerals(Right underneath my hous), then after an hour or two... I fall into lava an die... All my items gone x_x...

Yeah.. Creating a new world now. Sigh.

What you should be creating is a chest. :P

Utilizing pistons, I've designed my first death trap that causes suffocation and... stuff. All I have to do now is lure a zombie in there and see what happens :D

They don't work on players in SMP. I hear it generally just disconnect them with an illegal movement error. Lava traps are the way forward.

I installed TMI today just to dick around with pistons. I'm getting the hang of using them, but redstone is fucking temperamental about where you can and can't place it to have power running into objects.

For your first point: I've nearly killed myself with this (on SMP). I only didn't die because I ran out of there (if the death hallway were longer it would've been game over man, GAME OVER)

For your second point: Use repeaters with no delay (or a delay if you wanna be a little bit fancy) to connect to pistons. This allows for pistons in a row to be powered.

Au contraire, I was dicking about with a sticky piston-rail door setup (which doesn't work because Minecraft is buggy and pistons don't activate at the same time even though they should) and ended up killing myself by accidentally being pushed into a wall.

I think Hulaabeo was looking for something like that. Maybe I'll try one or two of them out when I can be bothered, some of them look fantastic.

I managed to draw up schematics for a lift for two floors with those pistons but I have yet to implement the idea. Seems do able, if I manage it and work out where the screen save pathway is for MC on my laptop I'll post them.

The front entrance for the Tower of Babel, the project I'm undertaking on the server I'm on. I expect it will use around 16k-24k blocks in total. Picture isn't up to date by a long shot.

Reminds me of Paramonia.

The temple? Perhaps, it was inspired by my last project but I've also wanted to accomplish the Tower of Babel for a while now. Difference between Paramonia is this is almost entirely cobblestone not wood.

A blasphemy in it's old creation. In reconstructing it I have included plenty of Christian adornments. Although I do realise it's a game (something you are unable to grasp?) and therefore the likeness to a cathedral is laughable and was picked simply because I wanted to make a big tower.

What's is the point, look I don't know what has suddenly got into you or if you're venting three years of bottled up rage but is this such a big deal? I'm showcasing a tower I'm building in Minecraft, if you feel so vehemently about the fact that there is a religious theme associated with it go persecute someone else because I'm not interested in your bull shit Max.
