if it is of any use to anyone,if you type in "Movies Of Oddworld"on your main browser page, under the "videos" section if you have one,(mine is on yahoo) it comes up with a selection of oddworld movies from,it appears, all the games released so far
|
Hi, welcome to the forums.
It's not really hard to find vids from the games, it's the more obscure ones (such as this Sea rex thing, completely unexistant on the internet thus far) that cause problems. |
movies of oddworld
there is actually a 18 second quick time video for sea rex on the net, and it should be available from a site called www-sci.pac,but my computer will no longer connect to it,since i had my BIOS problem.i will try and post the full url here to make it easier to find. http://www-sci.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/sa-...ies/clip02.mov

Remember that thing that was suppose to happen to Gappiqu with the bomb in Rupture Farms you were talking about? None of that came to fruition but you had already thought it out. Just as Lorne had thought about Abe's fight against Soulstorm Brewery and his venture to Necrum. |

Christie, forgive me. It’s just that the link you posted is to a video that is definitely not Oddworld.
|
That's a real life vid of the sea floor, with a flat fish and some sort of invertebrate in it.
Which means no Sea Rexes. |
In that case i can only apologise, but for some reason i can no longer get to that site, and it was a little while ago that i found it,so i guess my memory is not what it it should be, so if there is a way of deleting the post containing that link i will delete it,or can a moderator remove it?whichever is the best.

I have a pic request. Can some one give me a pic of a Stang?
|
There are no pictures. Sorry. The only thing we know is that they behave like a shark‐cum‐jellyfish, and were going to be aquatic enemies for swimming Munch.
|
oh okay what about the front view of a searex?
|
If there are no pictures of it on TOGG then we don't have it, sorry :(
|
There are no pictures of a Searex except from that sideview, and possible CG stills. It has never been seen in any other form.
Well, this isn't a question, but more of a speculation, but who cares: What exactly is used in the Slig steroids? The obviously seem to work differently to the ones we use, as the Oddworld Steroids increase bone mass and seem to promote growth generally, rather than our ones which pretty much just increase your muscle mass, and to freakish levels. The Big Bro Sligs' skeletons have grown with the muscles to support them adequately and effectively. Our real world steroids can not work like this. Also, I doubt hormones would have quite the same effect on a sexually neutral drone as it would on us, being either male or female (over use of steroids can cause aggression, among other mental side effects), while Big Bro's don't seem any more aggressive than the usual Slig. Is there any information on how they work at all? Though I doubt that in pretty much all forms... |

I heard on some website that there were hidden animals? Color Birds probly. Can someone give me a screenshot?
|
I have a question myself. Is there an in universe explamation on why in Rupture Farms and SoulStorm Brewery happens to look like a chemical plant, while the other factories are more like glass, simple complexes?
|
:
There's none I know of in AO or AE, though there were a few things evidently left out that there is concept art of still. @Slaveless: Externally, you mean? Perhaps the location of the factories could explain. Rupture Farms and Soulstorm Brewery are pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Were the other factories from MO nearer to civilization, where appearance might be more of a problem? Obviously the owners would want people to see a nice looking place and think "They must sell good looking products, too!" or something along those lines. I don't suppose there is too much of an explanation. |
In Strangers Wrath have any of you seen any Color Birds?
|
There are two or three pairs of these birds in the Mongo Forest level, just pecking at the ground. You can get quite close to them before they fly off. The birds were designed for Munch’s Oddysee, but were never used. There are paintings of them in the art book. It was because of their inclusion in the book that one of the programmers saw them, decided they were cool, and popped them into the game. ;)

As far as I know, there were only two creatures (four, in a way) that have appeared in previous games. Fuzzles have been live ammo, and Doc is a Vykker doctor that has promised to do surgery on Stranger. However, you might count the bees and the Boombats, if you think AO's bats and bees would count as a reoccurance in the games.
Color birds, I'm not confident. I've never played the game. |

No one asked what creatures in Stranger’s Wrath appeared in previous games.
|
I answered it rather indirectly, my mistake. I meant to say what was in SW that been previousily been mentioned in other games, and saying that Color birds was not to my knowledge. However, it seems like a silly way to answer a question, being that I haven't even played the game myself...
So yeah, I answered it in a silly and indirect way, and turned out to be unnecessary. *slaps self* |
i never seen them and i need a screen shot

Thats how big there beaks are? Thanks Xav!
|
Those things are mutant freaks of nature, it should be a physical impossibility to fly, unless they're hollow or something.
