Mac the Janitor 04-26-2004 03:41 PM

I found a chicken on Saturday, so it's just been hanging around my house since. I dunno if I'm gonna keep him or not.

Me and Rachel named him Ricky Martin, cos he's a babe.

He is a Babe

Does that make sence????
Please explain :P

DarkHoodness 04-27-2004 03:05 AM

My pets:

3 cats (who are all lovely, apart from the fact that they un-housetrained themselves.)
1 pig (She does nothing but sleep all day and sometimes mill around the garden. . . She's blind, so she doesn't go anywhere. We use her as an organic bin, and use her manure on our veggies.)
1 goat (Capricorn is cute - He follows you everywhere. :) When he behaves, that is.)
1 dog. (Marmite's a really nice dog, too. . . Gets on with Capricorn quite well, suprisingly)

I'll probably show some photos later or something.

EDIT:
Oh yeah, cool Supra, Death. :) There's some guy up the road from me who's selling off a white 1980's Toyota Supra for £1750. . . Shame I can't afford it. Or rather I can afford it, just the cash I have has to last a loooong time, and also I don't really need a flash car like that. . . I've heard that old 1980's Supra's have horrible handling, anyway.

Holy Crap death, I LOVE your Supra!!!! :) :) I'm all about the Hondas, have had a 94 Integra, 95 Accord, and a 96 Civic SI, I still drive that one, all three of them were after-market equipped in different ways.

VaniLLaKiLLah, love your pond!!!

I have a 12-year old Dalmatian named Abbey, a 2 year old evil cat named Charlie, we found her at 3 weeks old in a sack with her sister on a country road, my dad has her sister and we kept Charlie.

I also do Exotic bird rescues so I have various parrots fostered at my house. My own bird is Sabrina, a 7 year old Senegal Parrot.

Oh and 2 aquariums, one a Lake Malawi rift tank with Electric Yellows, and the other a misc tetra tank, mosly Rummynoses and Columbians.

My roommate abandoned his Pirhanna with me, I had him for 2 years and then found him a good home.

Sounds cool. The Accord is a nice car.

I've just had the Supra resprayed so it's looking all super shiny at the moment. The sprayshop I took it to botched up the silver on one side and lost all the alloy rims, so I've had them replaced with chromed tri-spokes and the bodywork is now the white that you see in the picture back there.

Fuzzles! 04-27-2004 07:34 AM

It looks sweet! I have 17" chrome 5-spokes on my civic now, have had them for a while, they're a real pain to keep looking good though. With our winters I take them off every October and throw my ice tires on that are already mounted on steel rims with caps.

Codek 04-27-2004 07:42 AM

Yeah that can be a problem. I've got a spare set of wheels that I put on in case the weather goes nuts.

I also find that dirt is a bit of a problem. Little tiny stones can scratch or scuff chromework if it isn't protected properly, which is mainly why I only take the supra out if it will be on roads that I know aren't a problem, anything else and I either take the bus or go in my friends' 4wd pickup.

Fuzzles! 04-27-2004 07:49 AM

Ah yes probably smart to leave the baby at home on bad roads! I know you can re-machine the rims, get them polished and re-clear-coated, but it's darn expensive here!

I'm so jealous of your car! I've always loved them but they were wicked expensive when they were still in production here.

Codek 04-27-2004 08:03 AM

Mine cost £5100. £100 for the bodykit, £5000 for the car. I've spent another £10000 on it since, with things like upgrades, resprays, engine bits and a nitro injector. (the nitro injector button is mounted under a flip up cap on the gearstick, which is something I copied from the film gone in sixty seconds)

That translates to about US $7500 for the car on its own with bodykit on. Mine's an imported 1993 model, so it's 11 years old now. Still purrs nicely, and looks just as modern as it did the day it rolled out the factory.

Fuzzles! 04-27-2004 08:36 AM

It looks great. When I was looking around in 95/96, they were retailing for 88K Canadian from a dealership. So you've got yourself a nice little ride there! Hence the jealousy! :) I've always admired them. And nicely outfitted too! droooool

oddguy 04-27-2004 10:58 AM

Apparently some people love cars just as much, or more, than their animals. ;)

Codek 04-27-2004 11:30 AM

You can thank ferill for that, he's the one that asked me about it. And I still haven't even posted pictures or my guns yet. Should I do that here too? Hmm, no, I think not.

Good call oddguy, but this thread was doomed to spam or thread evolution anyway.

Esus 04-27-2004 11:54 AM

A hamster lives at my house. Woo. Go me.

I do love my cars, yes indeed. But I love my animals more! :) Sorry for going OT.

:

1) Always greet dear ones when they come home nicely and lovingly.
2) Spend a lot of time outside loving the miracle known as nature and have fun outdoors.
3) Always stay humble and true to what you are.

4) Take a HUGE STEAMING PILE OF SHIT in the yard for the kids to step in!

That's 1 out of 2 reasons that I don't want a dog.

Cyber-Slig 07-02-2004 01:04 PM

I got a dog and a leapard gecko
