Hey there, first of all sorry for my english! I'm Italian!

I have a question about Abe's oddysee/exoddus and win XP.
I installed successfully Abe's Oddysee, but when i run the game the screen become full black and the sound goes well, like the game was started.
If i use the keyboard like i was playing the game, the sound follows me, but there is no visual at all, just that sad black screen.

What am i supposed to do, to make this lovely game work on my XP?
(i tried everything you said in upper posts, but nothing worked)
Thank you.

Flo

To be honest with u lot, anything that worked on Windows 95 is not going to work on XP, beleave me. I've tried installing other programmes on XP and they don't work, but I'm English and all the games I have r English versions, just so Esus doesn't feel left out.

Anyways, if you check the Oddworld download page for the demos, it does say they won't on XP.

It says that dosen't work. But I get both of them without Compatibilty Mode, if I choose "Windows 95" on AO it asks me if I want to send a error report to M$.

It's not true, almost all programs of 95 and 98 work on XP. If you want one example, pick Final Fantasy VII PC Version.

That happened to me too, last time I played AO. It worked fine without compatibility mode also.
