April 2004 appears to be the actual announced timeframe, if we didn't actually know that yet. I didn't...

Anyways, IGN, which is a great source for information, has April 2004 on their X Box release dates list. I suppose this can probably settle it that the game has an announced time.

I second that for Halo 2 also. Well if all plays out and if Halo 2 is delayed until april also. Looks like it will be a great month for xbox. A new oddworld game and the new halo game. Maybe now I can finally preorder OW4 at one of those stores like I did with Halo 2.

Well remember the website gamespot is an all around video game site. The store and website gamestop is an electronics, or video game store, online, and usually in most malls in the U.S. Much like Funco land, and EB games.:fuzsmile:

Oddworld are listed as one of the exhibitors at the Game Developers Conference 2004, booth 1934! Hopefully they will have screenshots,clips etc of the new game.

I think the GDC starts in March, 22-26! I wish i could go but im in england and can't really afford to pay for flight and hotel.

lets hope, but it would be surprising if they finnally anounced it at that event, it isn't exactly the biggest in video games events

Al, doesn't Gamestop consist of Funco Land and Electronics B? Or maybe that was Software Etc... that joined. I dunno. But I'm pretty sure Funco Land is part of Gamestop.

Eather or thats the list I got from them. But like I said before take this as a grain of sand because we don't know what this means. I was looking at Dear Alf and somebody else saw the same thing only it was on a sign. It said MO 2 comming out in December 2004.

Come to think of it I believe almost all of them are all part of the same group. Just certain stores are called either Funco Land, EB Games, or Gamestop. I do know that Gamestop and Funco land are the same thing, and Im about 95% sure on EB games being owned by the same person.

Over here, EB is owned by Game - they've actually converted all the EB stores into Game, which is interesting, because now we've got 2 Game stores about 100 yards apart. Anyway, add that to your conglomerate research.
