anyway, back on subject. I think this character is Big Boss for many reasons.

A) he looks like Snake. Snake was cloned from him.
B) he was in the cold war.
C) he was much younger in the cold war, which is why he looks much more like Snake.

EDIT: he is using a Vietnam issued M-16 (15 round clip, longer barrel) so it may have something to do with Vietnam.

Nowhere has it been mentioned Big Boss was in the Cold War. I'm not disagreeing, I think it is him too.
