wow very cool
I never saw that vykkers pic!

oddguy 03-29-2004 11:00 AM

Oddguy is the current high bidder, and I forbid all of you to dethrone me. :flames:

large Zap Shirt:

medium Zap Shirt:

Wil 03-29-2004 09:17 PM

Yes, have fun with the OWI patch. I successfully bid for it, sent the payment off, and it never arrived. It's probably mine.

Xavier 03-30-2004 05:06 AM

oow,
I hate those assholes that do that kind of things!
and I'm still being polite here

Wil 03-30-2004 05:36 AM

To be fair, there could be any number of reasons I didn't get it. My cheque might not have been delivered to the right place, or he did deliver the patch and it got lost in the mail. I'm sure this sort of stuff happens. In light of his new auction [so thanks Mac (typed Max again)] I've emailed him, so we'll wait and see.

T-nex 03-30-2004 06:13 AM

You know, it's very easy to make these t-shirts! You just need a special paper to print it on and put it on the t-shirt...

Yes, but you'd have to get OWI's permission first. Or else you could get busted for recreating a copyrighted item.

Actually, that would be perfectly legal.

As long as you aren't claiming ownership of it or using it for a profit (i.e. selling the t-shirts), then it's absolutely fine.

Xavier 03-31-2004 03:54 AM

yup Alferd made his own t-shirts and OWI find it fine
I have a self-made t-shirt myself ;)

T-nex 04-01-2004 07:19 AM

Yeah, you only have to ask for permission. Right?? Maybe pay a part of the money to OWI if you want to sell the item... i don't know exactly...

DeBulletDodger 04-17-2004 09:36 AM

I don't think so, I'm pretty sure the Abe one was the only one.

DeBulletDodger 04-17-2004 10:39 AM

ok I will just try to get the abe one.

Sekto Springs 04-17-2004 10:52 AM

Some guy by the identity of Blisterz Booty won the vykker shirt, so it's safe to say a forumer won it. Was it you Oddguy?

EDIT: Hey guys. The vykker shirt may be sold but I managed to take the image of the vykker and enhance it, simply save the image and have it printed on a T-shirt. I'll post it when it's done.

oddguy 04-17-2004 02:15 PM

Nah, I didn't win. *sob* :crying:

Sekto Springs 04-17-2004 02:33 PM

Oh well Oddguy, you can make your own shirt out of this Vykker image ;)

oddguy 04-17-2004 02:35 PM

I love you. :stare:

Alcar 04-17-2004 11:14 PM

I won the Vykker T-shirt. It hasn't arrived, as of yet.

Alcar...

oddguy 04-18-2004 09:20 AM

Go Alcar! I was a little steamed, but now that I know a forumer won it...I'm cool. Someone very deserving got that shirt!

Cheers, You lucky duck! Oh well, I'll just make my own shirt but it won't feel the same seeing how as it's unofficial :p

EDIT: Oh I almost forgot. How much money did the bid end in?

Disgruntled Intern 04-18-2004 10:34 AM

I'll be placing my Mud-Mood shirt up on ebay soon.

It's a little worn out, but still great. It's the pissed off mud, by the way.

Sekto Springs 04-18-2004 10:36 AM

I'll keep an eye out for it, what size is it?

Disgruntled Intern 04-18-2004 11:05 AM

I believe it's a Large.

DeBulletDodger 04-18-2004 11:46 AM

I must have an oddworld shirt but im a meduim and i cant find like any on ebay :fuzsad:

Disgruntled Intern 04-18-2004 12:12 PM

Gain some weight, and stop whining.

Wil 04-18-2004 12:28 PM

Sorry to pick, DI, but this is a wonderful example of a completely pointless post in GD. I made an announcement a couple of days ago, although I notice that a whopping great 11 people have read it.

Disgruntled Intern 04-18-2004 01:35 PM

You're right. I'm sorry.

To save this from becoming another pointless post, if a member of the forums wins the auction, I'll throw in a free AE poster.

Alcar 04-18-2004 06:03 PM

I had to pay $40 Australian in the end, which includes the postage and handling. I added an extra $2 though, in case the Australian dollar was to fall overnight :p

Alcar...

I honestly don't know how much an Australian dollar is worth in the US, but it sounds like alot ;)

DeBulletDodger 05-05-2004 11:05 AM

I just don’t understand any currency apart from my own.

Alcar what do u know of the mini statues of Oddworld characters.

oddguy 05-09-2004 03:19 PM

Look what oddguy just won at ebay! Hehehe. :D

Mac the Janitor 05-09-2004 03:35 PM

Oddguy, "Pampered Pam" (the other bidder) was actually the seller under a different name, raising the price so that you'd have to pay more.

oddguy 05-09-2004 03:36 PM

Loser...that's cheating. :flames: How do you know, anyway?

-oddguy

Mac the Janitor 05-09-2004 03:38 PM

It's a common technique used by sellers. It would be the only reason someone would bid...what, 5, 6 times in a row?

Oh, and check out this wigged out Abe magnet...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

Wigged out!

EDIT: and a...chair?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

oddguy 05-09-2004 03:43 PM

Yeah, I saw the magnet and thought it looked...strange.

The chair is cool though. And it's new. I'd buy it if I had not just gotten the poster set.

Xavier 05-10-2004 06:14 AM

hey hey, lots of good things here
to bad I can't buy on ebay... :(

EDIT: the abe on the magned is from some old fanart, NOT OFFICIAL!

DeBulletDodger 05-10-2004 06:56 AM

I want that inflatable chair damn USA only.

Wil 05-10-2004 08:20 AM

I was gonna bid on the posters, but A) shopping was to the US and Canada only, and B) I just spent £17.43 on Oddworld merch from eBay - and I'm meant to be saving for a trip to Thailand. So there goes one [poor] week's wages. :(

Enjoy your posters, oddguy! I'm sure there's a place you can complain to for such an act. And if not, just leave negative feedback for the swine.

oddguy 05-10-2004 08:51 AM

Ha! I knew it! Abe was green and funny looking.

I sure will enjoy them. I just hope this seller's dishonesty goes only as far as his/her selling tactics. The description said mint condition...and I better get those posters in nothing less than that for the $20.00 I paid.
