How in the world are we suposed to choose wich hand we like the best if some of the creatures dont even have hands??!!

Look at a charging paramite. They act like gorilla's and other large apes who use their hands as platforms. While they do rest on their...front limbs, I still use "hand" as "thing on end of limb in similar position to where humans have arms"

Anyone else got a complaint about how the critters hands look by this definition??

I classify hands as things that can pick up and hold objects. And Paramites are always on their front limbs, they never lift them except to walk and climb. They aren't hands.

That includes an Elephant's trunk. It's all in definition!

Other than that, I think you got the right definition. Paramites can hold onto webs though, and they use limbs with 2 joints. So they might have 4 arms or legs or something.
