Buddy

Buddy is a friend of Alf. He helps Alf run the OWI fan relations, he has a weight problem and he is a brew addict. But despite all this he is still a pretty nice mud.

Maybe Xav can post a picture.

M.O.M 11-09-2002 07:17 AM

Ok thankx for that

Wil 11-09-2002 10:01 AM

I had the thought that Buddy was the whiney Mudokon that accopanied Abe to Necrum Mines, but since his picture in Alf's Comoddities, I've changed my mind.

M.O.M 11-09-2002 04:11 PM

What whiney one?

Wil 11-09-2002 04:32 PM

The one that says

"Abe, you're just the greatest!"

and

"Can I go home?"

M.O.M 11-09-2002 04:35 PM

Thats Buddy, I Like Him

Xavier 11-09-2002 07:29 PM

Isn't there another picture of him though? Before we knew he was Buddy?

Poor mudflub, everyone ignored your question.

F.U.D. T.V. is the television station of the F.U.D. Network, a media organisation that contributes to The Daily Deception. I haven't seen the AE film short, where it first appeared, but it's my guess that it's a network aimed at the Mudokons in the Magog Cartel and industrialised Oddworld, because the host of the news program is a Mud. Not much to go on, but Pilot tells us that F.U.D. stands for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt.

Oddsville 11-10-2002 01:22 PM

Hmmmmmm... I never knew it stood for that? My guess was that it stood for some type of Mudokon hippy dippy thing?

Xavier 11-10-2002 02:16 PM

in this video you can see parts of the FUD TV

Oddsville 11-11-2002 08:39 PM

He was reporting on location, from where it all began.

I always thought that was Alf!

Compare the voice to Alf in the final movie when he says "I had my first brew when I was with Abe in the desert"

M.O.M 11-13-2002 05:26 AM

I think alf was the one who called him a wuss when they fiund the soulstorm brew

They are the boilers from Bonewerkz in Abe's Exoddus. They aren't living however :)

Alcar...

Nate 11-14-2002 03:02 AM

they look like they've got arms and legs!

Alcar 11-14-2002 03:05 AM

They are the pipes connecting the boilers to the appropriate places in Bonewerkz!

Speaking of Bonewerkz, I've just gotten out of Bonewerkz (in AE) with only 6 Mudokons saved, here comes my Black Ending!

I do know what happens but I haven't got there yet.

You get the bad ending, and the invincible power.

What invincible power?????

Oddipus 11-14-2002 02:02 PM

If you have the pc-version, and don't want to go all the way, you can use my savegame. Just paste the file in your savegames folder and voila.

AE black ending file

M.O.M 11-14-2002 02:02 PM

you can become invisible

Xavier 11-14-2002 03:14 PM

:

you can become invisible
how? what are you talking about?

Mac the Janitor 11-14-2002 11:53 PM

I think he's talking about the glitch where you use the invincibility power then get zapped a buncha times by some Greeters and Abe will be transparent. Sligs and other enemies can still "see" him, though.

Joshy 11-15-2002 12:42 AM

The invincible power is where nothing can kill you Alcar said.

Alcar...

Mac the Janitor 11-15-2002 12:58 AM

No, Sligster said the invisible power, not the invincible power.

M.O.M 11-15-2002 05:48 AM

invisibility is useful in games like these

Glukkon killer 11-15-2002 05:17 PM

does abe have a surname?
