What shouldn't exist is:

1. My modem
2. Those really annoying *bad* guys who has made me mad more then one time
3. Mean computers!!! My computer is mean!
4. Bad Mondays
5. ------------------

If you so truly love the forums. Then the modem you got should be a "vecation" to Oddworld... and you dont want to never find out about it would ya? As for me, I got ADSL, so I LIVE here;).

What is Broadband? And stuff like that? I dont get it, how does it make your comp fastar and how much is it?

He has a regular dial up Modem. Slow in other words. BroadBand, sends the internet signals through a fiberoptic cable, wich mulpiplyes the spead allot. Plus with Broadband, there is a Monthly fee, and you dont pay per visit to the net. Sure you might loose more money, but you can stay online as much as you want for no extra buckies! That means Games, Downloads!

A broadband connection is much faster than a 56k connection. Broadband requires a broadband adapter as opposed to a modem. It doesn't make your computer faster, it makes your internet connection faster.
