Right... good luck with that, Hitler...

CitizenKane 04-28-2002 06:20 PM

Hey! Hitler believed that only certain people should be wiped out. I believe all people deserve it equally; I'm warm hearted, see? How did you make that association anyway? He didn't even like using zeppelins.

SeaRex 04-28-2002 08:41 PM

Calm yourself, Kaney. I was just razzin' ya.

CitizenKane 04-29-2002 01:30 AM

And it worked... Curse and confusticate you, Rex!

1) He didn't? Wow, you learn something new and completely irrelevant each day.

2) Aww, sweet. CitizenKane wants equality in death for all. CitizenKane for president! *snickers* "Join me! In Death." (yes, that's quoting your alltime favorite pseudo-gothic song)

Not to be a wet blanket to you Citizen Kane, but if you killed all of the earth's inhabitants your rule would be pointless. After you slay everyone who is opposed to your domination what is the point of hording a vast airship armada? And with no company wouldn't it get quite boring?

Danny 04-29-2002 07:43 PM

Not meaning to state the obvious to you, Statikk, but Kane was joking...

morphius 04-29-2002 07:59 PM

Lampion, what is overpopulation a symptom of? Overpopulation effects all and is slowing everyone’s progression, and aren’t greed and selfishness the same? Also I do not think you can say intolerance includes for all and anyway it is somewhat needed. A line has to be drawn somewhere. You are basically saying greed is a cancer but I think it is more of a responsibility. Greed takes its first form after primitiveness. When humans first flourished they only knew survival, if they had two apples one would eat all not being greedy but because the individual is trying to survive. But as the human develops so does this and then this survival turns to greed. You could say the human is use to this therefore the greed will only build, but I think as the humans becomes smarter and evolves so to speak, this carries on and cannot be avoided just dealt with, and since humans are an individual they will follow this. The benefits of all working together is great but a human will not always accept this. Greed is usually extreme but it is taken out of nature or derived from life and denying ones self, or the individuals instinct is almost impossible and doing this is not the key, but rather containing ones instincts is, and this is where overpopulation begins........... I’m glad, though, you would like to change society and improve it but I think the future will not be about peace and whoever does not follow this will suffer the consequences. I think you can not include this because society as a whole will be much different physically and chemically.......if nothing else. It is an interesting subject. It all depends on view....

I'll answer this one - Lack of Education and Lack of Birth Control Facilities...

Would you care to elaborate?

As for your Greed Argument - Bullshit. So what if Humans have been being greedy for millenia? We've been persecuting each other for millenia, too, does that make it right? We've been killing each other and other animals for all kinds of reasons, does that make that right?

Morphius's Message: Be Greedy, Intolerant, and Aggressive, or else!

What do you mean, "society will be different physicall and chemically"? Do you mean people will look different? The landscape will change? We'll get new drugs? I wish you wouldn't make such vague statements, since it makes it so obvious that you're only saying them to appear clever...

I can't believe you're still trying to make sense of anything this guy says. "Vague" just doesn't do it justice. More like "rambling" and "incoherent." Verbs and nouns stuck together in random patterns that appear to be English but actually make no sense whatsoever.

My theory is that morphius is a discarded AI program that someone rescued from an IBM 370 series (or maybe the HAL 9000 . . . no, HAL was definitely coherent) and is inflicting on us as a mad experiment.

CitizenKane 04-30-2002 12:07 AM

Dominion? What dominion? The Zeppelins and their crews blow up next. The idea is to wipe out all human life and otherwise on Earth.

morphius 04-30-2002 01:09 AM

Thankyou for answering my question Danny but I meant it as a symptom of what Lampion was talking about as a question, and I did not say to go out being Greedy but if anything go and control this greed....And Doug what I say does make sense and sorry if I do not elaborate but it really depends on view and I will if I have to. Last I say physically and chemically because the future will be much different in comparison and who says that we will even carry the characteristics of a human as we move on.....But rather adapt other ways of surviving where human morality is lost and different ways of living and lifestyles are boosted.......and when did I say killing each other is justified? or other animals?

Statikk HDM 04-30-2002 01:10 AM

Their is no overpopulation. Pardon the language but that is a steaming pile of ****ing horseshit. And, Dan, I'm catchin' some bad vibes. You need to chill out and be a litle less edgy

I can't resist!!

It's symptom of... too small a planet. *evil grin*

By the way, don't try and get Danny to understand how greed can be a good thing. He's commie (I'm stating it as a fact). I tried that already. *grin*

I'll go as far to say what I believe in: All seven "sins" are good. Gluttony, Hate, Anger, Greed, Lust (hey, at least everyone agrees this one isn't a bad thing anymore), Sloth and ... and... ARGH, I hate it when I can't remember the last one. *moment pause* Pride! Right. Pride. How could I forget.

As in all things in nature, too much of anything is a bad thing. Heck, even too much oxygen is a bad thing, not sure if people here all know that, but it'd poison you.

i used that posticon again. *ugh* *ape noises here* And I think I got a bit off topic...

Statikk HDM 04-30-2002 07:38 PM

Well, if I am wrong about the "supposed overpopulation, show me how. Once again go for the lowblow

lol, you're funny... I'd have thought you'd have realised by now that I'm the last person here who needs to chill out some more... You take things way to seriously, Stat...

Gluttony: The reason the Third World is poor. I defy you to say how this is good... Pleasurable, I'll give you, but good? ;)
Hate: The reason behind most Racial Attacks, as well as many other tragedies. Ditto.
Anger: Ahh, here's a good one. Anger is good in moderation. I'll give you this one.
Greed: Covered above.
Lust: Just talk to Chris about this one, he'll tell you... :D (Chris is Jacob, for those who don't know)
Sloth: Not good or bad, but kind of boring after a while, don't you find? ;)
Pride: This one is often perfectly justified. But then, I am a smug git sometimes, so I would say that... :D
So to sum up, I reckon we could do without all of those except for Anger and Pride, although a little Sloth never did anyone any harm... (It's the big sloths you have to watch out for... Those claws - Yikes!)

morphius 05-01-2002 01:22 AM

I must agree, though, how is gluttony benefitial?

Sl'askia 05-01-2002 01:42 AM

Actually...you are a little off on the seven sins (according to the movie 'Seven' anyway).
Pride, Greed, Sloth, Gluttony, Envy, Vengence (or was it Revenge?), dang it...I don't remember the last one...

morphius 05-01-2002 02:05 AM

I think it was anger or hate, probably wrong though.............

Danny 05-01-2002 08:40 PM

No, the one where he got revenge was the Anger one... The seventh was Lust, but yes, you're right, I think it was Envy rather than Hate...

Gatalus 05-03-2002 10:31 AM

That movie ruled. The last one (in the movie) was Wrath or Revenge. And the worst problem of human society today is that lots of people spend their lives in jobs they hate to buy stuff they don't need.

paramiteabe 05-03-2002 11:05 AM

I feel that the worst problem in this world is all of us not getting along with one another. "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE" as John Lennon once put it!:fuzblink:

Jacob 05-04-2002 10:42 AM

Oh so true Paramite person. But that will never happen. Humans have the whole pride thing still going on and with the Ku Klux Klan still around i doubt that ethnic peace will include anyone. And with overly religious fanatics still around homosexuals wont get any peace.

You know, I've actually never been able to understand why so many religions are anti-homosexual. I don't see logics behind it, at least not in this age. Maybe in the past it was asking for diseases or whatever, but if so, why can't people realise that some things just have changed? *sulk*

Maybe it really is because these things are so alien to people who are neither bi nor homo, hmm? I say, stick them (people matching previous definition aswell as being anti-homo like) into a body of the opposite gender for a week, then haul 'em back out, let's see what they have to say, then. *grins*

They'll probably have a nervous breakdown, though. *l*

Actually, seriously now. Can someone explain where the religious anti-homosexual thing came from in the different religions that are inclined like that? I really don't know.

Danny 05-04-2002 01:17 PM

I know why Christianity was anti-Homosexual, but I don't know about other religions. Come to think of it, I can't think of any other religions that are that Homophobic, really - what other ones are there?

Christianity declared itself Homophobic in order to oppose the Romans, as Homosexuality was (rightly) considered normal by the Romans. That's all. Homophobia was simply a political move to ensure that Christianity's supporters were thoroughly anti-Roman... That's why they made up all that shit about it being "immoral", "unnatural", etc. Then when they wrote the Bible, they put little hints of it in there, so that it became Official. Over the years, it became so much a part of Christian Doctrine that even after the Roman Empire became Christian, the rules against Homosexuality remained...

I really don't know off by heart, but the western religions we went through in philosophy (islam, christianity, judism, ... and I forgot the last one), seemed rather homophobic. I may be wrong yet again, but it lingers in my brain as such.
