WOW! Oddworld Forum's second movement. Just tuned and tweaked my profile.... It feels a bit strange, but I will get used to it, I guess.

Where is the "Report this post to Moderators" option for?

Eek! This is scary... All the new icons and features make me feel full of happy goo, but this is gonna take some getting used to... *stumbles around new/improved forums like some kind of drunkard(i.e Dan)*

EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure I didn't have 529 posts at the old forums I didn't even break 500 at the old forums and how come I am Mudokon poser and not a senior member like all these other people?

EDIT 2: Don't worry about that rating thing now everyone else has a oddworld name.

The main reason we're offering to change people's usernames is because of the chance that the change has given you a username one other than your display name as it was at the UBB. With rare exception (we all knew Rettick as Danny anyway, so no harm there), we should keep our regular names to avoid confusion.

These forums are so much better than the other forums, in the sense that they have so much more features.......Look at this i can do lots of html commands in here, i could do a whole webpage, HAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAAHAHA......Sorry i got carried away there......but these forums are the best.......Also thankyou for allowing the MSN images back online, i was going to meltdown if i didn't find an answer.........that is all.............................

Also i would also say that changing names are a bad thing for new forumers, as they probably wont know who changed, but maybe if you want your name changed you should actually tell everyone by posting.

I tend to agree with Sydney... the only reason we were changing names was because some people lost their displayed names in the move over. I don't want to be changing names for every second person who is bored of their name. It's really just for those who lost their names and want them back, unless you can provide us with good enough reason for the change (i.e. Danny, as he is known by that by everyone anyway, and he's a Mod). And no, "I'm bored of my old one" is not acceptable.

Also, I think I'm going to do a review of those text colors, as we CAN change them! It's just that some people are using things like red and purple that is hard to read on our forums. What is a better idea is to provide only "forum friendly" colors, so that people will be able to read the text easily.

BTW... the Oddworld statuses are back! They've been reviewed and changed a bit to reflect the correct Munch's Oddysee statuses. I was glad to find that I could continue to keep the stars system in. :fuzzle:

Well my reason is because "abe22" sounds like a boys name and I have been called a "he" and I don't really like it. And I would like more people to call me by My real name "Jo" (well it's actually Joanne but hey.)

I used to be in a german forum that has the same features like this. And I Love it!!! :D

It's really the same like the kacke forum, but I don't visit it anymore because....it was so....german...:fuzsmile:

A few people got some extra posts on their count when the old forums were imported. Just a small side effect I guess. Oh well, better than people losing their post count.

BTW, Teal and Alector... how do you do those really cool things with the colors... you don't mean to tell me you chose all those colors manually? I saw them at a FF forum once, but never was able to find out how they were done.

It's a little programme, called "RainbowText" (an Online friend of mine made it, and I pointed it out to Alector). You enter the text you want, and the colours you want it, and it gives you the HTML code for the colours. I can send it to you, if you like - which email address do you use? (It's quite small - 240kb, I think)

Don't worry, the novelty of the colours will wear off after a while... Although I'm still going to use it for things like editing...

Then there are many other cool new things I like. But I don't really like the colours either... I mean if some one uses them all the time and changes them all the time.. It's just annoying if you're reading the posts late in the evening and you're tired and the text is like yellow or pink or something..

I don't like the lurking thing... if you click on someone you can read all their posts, and that means it is easy for people to read my very old posts when I had no forum skills and posted annoying, jackass-ey things... oop, please forget what I just said... don't want any one getting ideas... hmm...

another big booboo...when it says date joined you got it all wrong. A minority of us joined with the ezboard, why dont you put those dates instead.

we could do it ourselves (hunting) and abe babe and sydney can type.... im bitching aren't i? ill stop....nuff said

Well I am finnally back from almost certain doom. For the last couple days my code wasant working and now I understand it now. I love the new site. It's pretty neat. ;) Oh and thankyou again Sydney for helping me out.
