hmmmm, i thought i heard the sound of children argueing about nonsense. Anyway, gangs do not necessarily mean a bad thing, it's just that so many gangs do "bad things." Who was it that said they got shot at twice, was it disgruntled intern? Man, I wouldn't joke around like that, no loads of laughter there man. I've seen hold ups with the "cops & robbers" just like on television. I've never been robbed, though. In fact, you can go your whole life living in New York City and never get invovled in gangs, robberies, or anything like that. Hell, a friend of mine, he's 74 and stick kicking (his stories are so great) I was walking with him at night once on Broadway and 8th St. I was going into the subway, but he was taking another train. I said to him, "You gonna be alright?" He said, "Are you kidding? I've been living in the city for over 70 years and I've never been mugged or robbed once, what's wrong with me? Maybe tonight I'll finally get mugged!" That's it! HAHAHA, one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

I'm glad to see this calmed down, but we need to see how we can solve things like the future. Now usually they just calm down all by themselves but they have become even more and more disturbing. A givin is no no lowblows and insults involving sexual orienttation, thats a givein. Secondly, If someone tells you you are wrong and it is not theory or dogma but fact, can it. Don't be bad examples to the new people. Anyways, a person i now got in a fight with a gangbangers younger brother and i was wondering if you have ever been efected by a gang.

Several things:

1. I apologise for egging Pinky and Disgruntled on earlier.

2. I do not, in any way, apologise for calling Pinky a Bitch for making fun of someone in Special Ed classes. She deserved it for being so heartless. I would gladly do it again if she acted so insensitively.

3. Pinky: I am indeed Homosexual, and I am indeed, technically speaking, a Bastard. So your insult was fairly useless, I'm afraid.

4. Also to Pinky: I have never made fun of you for being Christian. Several of my friends are Christians. One of them (Good Heather) is an extremely devout one. Christianity is not my problem with you. My problem with you is that you not only tell me that I am going to Hell (for practically everything I am, in fact), but then you also then expect me to be okay with that by saying that God said it, not you. That is the metaphorical equivalent of going up to a Jew and saying "I think you should all be killed, but you don't need to hate me for that, because it was Hitler's Idea originally"...

I believe it is way to lenient. a real crackdown of must serve minimum sentences, 85 % serving of all sentencing, and dropping the quality of life in a jail cell to the basic necessities and not weight rooms and Cable tv but what the honest poor faces each day would reduce crimeand virtually shutdown gangs. Statikk, have you ever BEEN in prison? Thought not, since you obviously have no idea what it's like in Prison. My Mum's Ex-Partner was in Prison (for nothing more serious than growing Cannabis, I hasten to add), and it is foul. Cable TV? What planet are you on? The food is the barest nutrition necessary, they are lucky if they get a television, and the cells are filthy. And you want them LESS lenient? That would be just inhumane.

What specific crimes are we actually talking about here, anyway?

Serious and totally ****ed up criminals like rapists, cannibals, armed robbers, repeat offenders who have commited many, many felonies. Basically the scum of the earth. And as a sidelite, I will add that a timelimit on when you can ask for habeas corpus and how many times you may ask for it before your execution. The average amount on of time spent on death row is over 20 years and that is just pretty damn ridiculous!! I have no problems with people who take and or deal drugs. As long as the person is not a criminal and violent offendor I see no reason to bust up someone's highflyin' good time!

Yeah Prison is worst than Jail. My uncle is in prison for another 7 years now because he he was a drug dealer. Majority of my uncles went to prison for that. What happen to getting a real job?
