Edit: Saw it and it was amazing but now have so many more questions.

I really enjoyed meeting the other Oddworld fans. I was half expecting a cringey experience but the group got along great in quite a natural way. Even Nep was bearable :p

It was fun just walking around the EGX, checking out some games together and just talking about stuff.

We also got to meet and chat with Lorne, the Oddworld Inhabitants and the Fat Krakens a couple of times during the day which was very cool. Thank you for taking the time guys, it was really appreciated.

Of course we also attended Lorne's "Brewing Oddworld: Soulstorm" presentation on the front row (we'll most of us :p) which was quite surreal to me to witness live! Doesn't hurt either that we got some sweet merch at the end of the presentation too!

All in all a great day with great people.

My decision to join the fanmeet came a bit late, but I'm so glad I did!
Great to meet so many nice people and talk about Oddworld and everything else :)
All around fun, and the presentation was just what I wanted. The art they showcased put me on Soulstorm hype overdrive!!
I'd definitely consider joining another fanmeet in the future if there is one. :)

Hey peeps, this is a shout out to those of you that met up at EGX 2017. It was great to finally meet Lorne in person. I got to talk to him and ask some questions. He is a really nice guy, very charismatic.

To be fair Lorne's a tall man. Even I felt a little small. :)

Xavier initially forgot to give LL the badge when we were pestering him after the presentation. Lorne was already walking away - late for his next interview - and we suggested Xavier give it fast before he leaves. Xavier swooped in, and assisted by Nepsotic they gave the badge of honour.

...In the picture I see it so that Nepsotic has one blue, long nail on his thumb. :p
