My vote goes for Vlam. In all honesty, I think he makes some very intelligent observations, and while he's brutally honest at times, I don't think he's harsh. He also has very good forum navigational skills; he can find relevant posts at the drop of a hat.

JayDee, I think you'd make an excellent moderator. You seem pretty dedicated to fan-made content, in whatever form it comes. Hopefully you can breathe some new life into Fan Corner!

With all due respect, I don't think Manco is a good choice for a moderator, so is Vlam.

Everyone is opinionated. It's how you act on that that matters though - and personally I don't see him as the type to abuse power and delete someone's post because it says something he disagrees with, or use his title to boost his arguments like some kind of power-hungry maniac. Personally, I vote him because it takes a lot of dedication to post walls as giant and thorough as his. And when in an argument, he doesn't just go off and randomly insult the other person or anything. He seems like the type who would actually give a shit about the job.

As for Vlam, I'm not sure why everyone keeps voting him. No offense to him - he seems like an okay guy, but I guess I just haven't seen much of him. He seems like he usually just posts one or two sentences at a time, most of the time. I don't really know much about his character. I feel like most votes for him are just joke votes.

"Radical" seems a bit harsh and biased, honestly. But perhaps I'm biased because I've simply agreed with what I've seen from her, and considered her the victor of a few arguments. Regardless, this shouldn't matter if she's mature enough to put her "radical views" aside and apply her mod-face when necessary. I have yet to see her senselessly attack people for no reason, and I haven't seen any indicators that she'd be the type to abuse authority. Like I said - having opinions is one thing. Acting on them is another.

She just seems like a good personality to me. To each his own I suppose. But you also seem a bit hostile towards Havoc, who actually used to be a mod, soooo idk how much to trust your assessments. Who knows - maybe Fennec or Jaydee are better candidates - I haven't seen much of either of them to judge.

Also, while flattered, I don't think I deserve any kind of authority here. I am but a simple tadpole. I haven't even had 100 posts yet. Though I have /secretly/ been here since the ancient times, since like 2003.... I don't think my years of experience as a lurker sum up to a very charismatic character. I'm more of the cunning snitch-mole survivalist type who would suck up to the nearest source of power rather than police the forums - but I would hold the responsibility high at least, and though I don't have much faith in my own ability, a few shitposters and multis shouldn't be too much to handle.

Nobody knows what Manco is; he's very introverted, which I think leaves some people feeling uneasy. It's hard to trust something you can't really fathom. :confused:

I actually wouldn't mind Vlam as a moderator, for the same reasons MrsKJJ pointed out. He knows how to navigate this forum; he's tough but fair, and I think he walks a fairly neutral line for the most point, tending to be objective and base his observations upon evidence as opposed to his own personal thoughts and concerns.
