The barcode reads "findawayshowthetruth". It reads top to bottom so I took one vertical row and rotated it 90 degrees counter clockwise and stretched it and adjusted contrast to make it more readable. Similar to the newsletter.

3 hours in and you guys have already worked out a majority of it! Impressive stuff!

So we still need to work out the Arrows on the left hand side, and the large square of squares?


Maybe the arrows are for degrees ranging from 0-360?


Also, would people like me to compile a collage of everything you guys have worked out thus far?

I'm glad I managed to work out the morse code one alone before coming to this forum, also not sure if someone already mentioned this already, it's a small detail but the Dump Dots below all the social media stuff on the bottom right says "Spread our message" nothing too big but still.

Do you think there could be two barcodes in there, one hidden in the vertical line and one in the horizontal? I've been trying to get the same result as you got on the vertical one but it's being tricky. Would you want to try your technique on a horizontal line to see if you can get one to read from there, too?

"Know your codes" scares me. I hope someone has all this stuff written down somewhere.

I also attempted to do the 'possible horizontal barcode' but didn't get any results. Then again, I haven't tried the known barcode, so it could be my method that is wrong.

We're still looking for:

• What is encoded in the horizontal barcode in the square.
• The meaning of the arrows.

There seems to be a faint line next to the arrows. Perhaps in a hint on how to orient them?

edit: Here is the horizontal barcode cleaned and isolated. But a regular barcode scanner doesn't seem to make much sense of it. Perhaps parts are missing or we only need to look at an isolated segment. I tried inverting the code as well but no luck so far.

You're right. I made a few mistakes - was in a bit of a rush :D

The best thing to note though is that we both found them to be EXACTLY (almost up to the decimal) on quantities of 10.

Isolated barcode after rotating cube 90 deg CCW. Scanner does not detect a barcode however I believe this is because there are horizontal and vertical slices "taken out" or shifted. Thus the challenge is discerning intentional gaps from shifted gaps, then (in theory) it should scan.

After messing with the barcode for hours, I found out that barcodes always start and end the same, this one was missing the first bar that makes up the Start Code.

No, in the bottom right of the picture is 2 bar codes interlaced, one reading vertical and the other horizontal, the vertical one reads findawayshowthetruth the horizontal is half of a link, we need to find the rest of the link.
