It's been a while since I did Oddworld art, I had to move away from home because of school so that kept me busy. But I recently re-played New 'n' Tasty so I was in mood for some oddworld art.

Originally I thought of a slug or snail kind of creature, but decided on something else when I read a quote from somewhere from Lorne Lanning that the story behind Squeek is sort of like bunnies being experimented on and trying to make their fur softer. So I thought of this bunny/rabbit creature that has had his ears and tail cut off and replaced with something else. https://66.media.tumblr.com/68231a50...xmnqo3_540.png I think they are too cute, and thought that that might be their self-defense. Being cute. Of course, this would not work on scrabs, paramites, slogs, vykkerns and interns. Dawww poor lil fluffer. I feel like your Squeek almost looks too "normal" to be an Oddworld creature (he needs to have either a little more ugly-cute to him like Munch, or a little more creepy-cute like a fuzzle), though given that it's just a sketch it's hardly an issue : P The flying/prehensile tail is a cool mechanic and I could easily see that in a game.

This picture is rather huge. And water is wet. duh Anyhow, I played with the idea that Abe would reincarnate as a god/spirit (tho does anyone know if Mudokons even believe in reincarnation? Is there any threads discussing Mudokon gods and views on afterlife?? I mean, there's ghost/spirits in AE...). Took a lot of inspiration from Hinduism. He's Abel, the god/spirit of Quarma, liberty and justice. His third eye sees the good and bad in everyone, and uses it to judge them. Do an ultimate good deed and he'll grant you any wish. Do the ultimate bad deed, and he'll make your life and afterlife hell. |

Hansu is actually like the third Finnish person I've encountered online with artistic talent. Idk what it is up there, maybe there's nothing else to do when you're buried in snow, but ya'll are annoyingly good at drawing.
