If it isn't part of the Quintology then Abe shouldn't have had the chest tattoo in Munch's Oddysee. Simple as that. It wasn't planned as a part of it, but it became a part of it.

That doesn't make a lot of sense, Havoc. There's a difference with continuity, and canon, and what games are included in the Quintology. Abe's Exoddus isn't a part of the Quintology but it's still canon. Which is why the chest tattoo carried over into Munch.

The Quintology is the ongoing story of five fabled messianic figures in Oddworld. Oddysee and Exoddus were two halves of the story of the first of those figures - Abe.

Exoddus is part of the Quintology, it's just not a new story in its own right; rather a continuation of Oddysee. Act 1, Part 1 and Act 1, Part 2.

I guess Meech's way makes sense. I was going to add that the Quintology was up in the air since MO barely scratched the surface of its intended story and a Munch's Exoddus would probably be needed to finish Munch's tale.

Abe's Exoddus is NOT part of the Quintology. Imagine they did a special between 2 series' of a TV show. That's what Exoddus was. Bonus content that adds to the story, but isn't part of the core structure. I thought everyone knew that?

It seems that "Twice ze Flavour" has filtered back to Lorne who publically uttered it. Which means that everyone has heard it.

Ooo now that its been announced, lets do the whole "if you can have 1 thing in an Exoddus remake, what would it be?" thing.

My vote is for the option to switch between moving camera and having single screen gameplay with the wipe between screens. The way it was before made me focus on the whole scene. The backgrounds, the forgrounds, I just took it all in and appreciated it. Dont get me wrong NnT is brilliant and the moving camera goes well with it, but its so fast paced now i miss a few details at times.

anyways, let the speculation begin! how they gonna wow us this time? :)


Also, on a side note from the JAW facebook, 2 titles are going to be shown at some point this year. Hints are at gamescom and E3. So JAW and OWI will be attending these events. Let even more speculation begin!
