We've actually narrowed it down to eight names, for now. Well, that's if it turns out to be a girl. She's pretty convinced that we're having a girl.

How does that work?

Pregnant women get..... superstitious. She dangled her engagement ring over her belly, and it swung side to side. Girl. She peed in a cup of baking soda, and it didn't fizz. Girl. I have a feeling we'll be trying some more back woods witchery pretty soon!

When my sister was pregnant for the first time, 100% of known psychics using various techniques (including crystal swinging pendulum) predicted it was going to be a boy. Nope.

Yeah.... I mean, I know none of that makes a difference. But she's happy thinking she's going to have a girl, and have you ever tried to tell a pregnant woman that something that she wants to be real doesn't actually work? Especially when that something has to do with the baby growing inside of them? Man, I wouldn't get laid for a year. Probably longer if it turned out to be a boy!

Honestly, I'm sure she doesn't really believe in these things. It was just something fun for her to do, and she wants a girl, so she was happy with the results. I want a girl, too. Girls are fun for dads.
