It does. That's why it's an oversight - people could queue up as many of those as they like and they would all "float" above anything anyone posted for the next year, or more. Someone would manually have to go through and clean them all up.

e: Ok so I made a blog called "If man is still alive..." to be posted in 2525, but it caps at 2106. I still need to share that because it's a not-awful joke.

Why does it even have the option?

So that you can schedule posts if you want to maintain a regular blog or something. The feed at the bottom of the page for some themes (half of the forum won't even know that blog exists) shows unpublished blogs for some weird reason. Even drafts show up there apparently.

I only check that part of the front page for blogs. I dont go to the blogs section.

To be fair, the blog part is probably a third-party add-on, so it’s not vBulletin’s fault.

you can also do it by starting the quote with "[ quote ]" then the text then "[ /quote ]" but do not put any spaces in the brackets
